Can hot weather lead to eczema?
Allergens in food
The baby's delicate intestines and stomach sometimes have allergic reactions to certain foods, such as eggs, milk, bean products, seafood, nuts and so on. Once the baby is exposed to these foods, it may cause allergies and lead to eczema.
Allergens in the air
The air around the baby may contain all kinds of allergic substances, such as dust, dust mites, pollen and animal dander. These tiny allergens may cause eczema in infants.
Impact of climate change
Strong ultraviolet rays, sudden temperature, dry air, cold weather and air pollution (pm2.5) may all be the trigger factors of baby eczema.
Improper nursing
Improper nursing is also a cause of eczema aggravation. Baby will feel itchy after suffering from eczema. If the baby often scratches the affected area by hand, it will aggravate the skin damage, make the skin more vulnerable to external allergens, and lead to the deterioration of eczema.
