Zhenyuan-the ancient plateau city you have to go to.

Perhaps travel and life are two things in one thing, both mysterious and with unknown possibilities. So the trip to Zhenyuan gave me great surprises and sighs.

Zhenyuan Ancient City: It is a town under the jurisdiction of zhenyuan county, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture. It is located on the banks of Wuyang River, surrounded by mountains. The river meanders through the urban area in an "S" shape, with the old Fucheng on the north bank and the old Acropolis on the south bank. From a distance, it looks like Artest. Both cities were built in the Ming Dynasty, and some city walls and gates still exist. There are a large number of ancient buildings, traditional houses and historical docks inside and outside the city. Known as "the hub of Yunnan and Chu, the gateway to eastern Guizhou." Zhenyuan has a long history. It has a history of nearly 2,300 years since the county was founded in the 30th year of Qin Dynasty (277 BC), and it was the seat of Taoism and government in Yuan and Qing Dynasties for more than 700 years.

On June 7, 2020, 65438 was designated as a national 5A-level tourist attraction by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It is also one of the eight 5A-level scenic spots in Guizhou, and the niche scenic spots recommended by netizens are often listed.

When I first arrived in the ancient city, it was the Qingming holiday this year. When I drove there, it was already past six in the evening. Because the weather has not completely warmed up, the night will come soon. It was the first time that the lights were on, and people were surging. In such an off-season, it is timely to see such a prosperous scene.

A group of four people strolled slowly in the streets of the ancient city, enjoying a hard-won slow life. The road paved with bluestone slabs is full of traffic, and pedestrians are in no hurry. With the "rubbing" sound of wheels rubbing against the ground, music and hawking sound are also sounded in the small shops on the street at the right time.

It may be related to the life of local residents. The town is far from being as deliberate and unified as the old city in the past. Of course, it also has its own tourist street. Fortunately, the patchwork Gu Xiang made up for the same architectural pattern of the ancient city in time, and it was not boring in its spare time.

Walking along the gate of the ancient town, the trees are shaded and the air is fresh. The ancient pier left thousands of years ago is still a resting place for ships on the river. The entrance of the ancient roadway is relatively inconspicuous, so you can meet it slowly, so the carving at the corner tells the people here the euphemistic and elegant artistic expression (of course, it may also be a masterpiece of the local tourism design department).

Arriving at Zhenyuan Revolutionary History Museum, there are two big characters written on the door-"Bohai Sea". Turn right at the entrance and enter the "Jinshi House" in the Ming Dynasty. It is far from the high-end atmosphere, but it is exquisite and delicate, and it still retains the architectural charm at that time. Although I don't know whether it will be repaired and updated in the future, the overall layout and design are still well preserved.

Now Jinshi House has become a museum of revolutionary history, which is also a proof of historical changes. At the same time, it shows us the talent scenery and revolutionary feelings that stay here today. The spirit passed down from generation to generation flows in the blood of Zhenyuan people, just like the winding Wuyang River in the city often exists in the years.

Climbing on the rugged stone bridge and facing the track of the opposite train, the whistling sound is the reincarnation of countless storms in ancient and modern times. Nowadays, people look at ancient bridges. In ancient times, who would have thought that people in this ancient city thousands of years ago would have thought of such a complicated today?

Zhu Yuanzhang, the Ming Emperor, moved the capital to Guizhou, and Shuixi in Guizhou asked your wife Ai Cui to welcome Julian Waghann to Zhenyuan. All-powerful Humen, proud of Lin Zexu of Humen, spent three years in Zhenyuan; Wang Yangming was transferred from Guizhou Academy to Luling, Jiangxi by a letter. At work, he walked away from the town and bought a boat, from Wuyang River to Shui Yuan and then to Dongting. Are these historical figures at that time on the same bridge with us, looking at the opposite Qinglong Cave and feeling about life?

Slowly moving forward, the Qinglong Cave built on the mountain stands resolutely in front of Wuyang River. There is a diaojiao building overlooking the river, a quiet temple meditation platform, a students' college where students are studying, and even a stage with gongs and drums, which is a collection of pavilions and pavilions in the world.

Along the direction of the river, people come and go in the wide streets. There are vendors selling various ethnic patterns, some like wandering painters drawing lovers in the shade, some twin girls singing "Chengdu" with guitars about their own size (although this is Zhenyuan), some rock lyrics coming from bars full of youthful blood, and some movie shops, which have become landmarks for groups of young people to take photos and punch in.

Every place has its own style, but every place complements each other.

Perhaps the same is true of many ancient cities today, but it has not made Zhenyuan lose its original long history and humanistic customs.

Zhenyuan is one of the most surprising ancient cities I have been to (of course, there are not many ancient cities I have been to). Houses built along the river are stacked on top of each other, and some Huizhou-style buildings are uniform under the smoke, but the cornice doors and windows always show the minority characteristics here. Time is clear, misty and rainy, and pedestrians are not prosperous, adding a bit of Jiangnan style.

The mountains in Guizhou are not as delicate and lovely as Lingnan, nor as majestic and solemn as Tibet. There is no endless desert plain in the northwest, and there is no romantic tenderness in the southeast windward sea. We are located in the southwest, south of the Huaihe River in Qinling Mountains, so northerners call it the South. But we grew up in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, nicknamed the orphans in the north.

There is no heaven and earth in the north and no wind in the south. Instead, it has created the unique charm of this mountain area. Zhenyuan is like a small town in the south of the Yangtze River on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. It has been positioned calmly and tastefully for thousands of years.

If you have never been to Zhenyuan, there are still many places waiting for you to explore; If you have been to Zhenyuan, please tell me your story and let's talk about this unique southwest scenery. # Travel #
