Nuwa Festival is an ancient Han folk custom and folk religious cultural activity. It is said that Nu Wa's birthday is on March 18 of the lunar calendar. The most famous myth in China's history is that "Nu Wa tried to mend the sky by refining stones, and man was created on earth", which is widely spread and well known. Nu Wa is the goddess of snakehead in myths and legends. "Chronology Supplement" says: "Nuwa's surname is also Feng's surname, and she is a snake with a sacred virtue, so she loves her daughter that day." "Shuowen" says: "Nuwa, an ancient saint, also transformed everything." Nu Wa is also called Emperor Wa, Empress Wa, Emperor Yin, Goddess Media and Feng surname, and is the same mother as Fuxi. According to historical records, the main deeds of Nu Wa are mending the sky, making people out of the land, transforming themselves into human beings, helping Fu change his surname, and matchmaking. It is the greatness of ancient human beings and ancient civilization in China. Also known as the ancestor of mankind-"Nu Wa Niangniang".

According to legend, Nu Wa was born in Ji Cheng. According to authoritative works such as Ci Hai, Gu Jicheng is the area around Longcheng Town in Qin 'an today. Longcheng is an important town in Guanlong. There are some place names named after "Feng" in the town, such as Fenggou, Fengtai and Fengbi. There are also ancient village names such as Huang Er, Fengwei and Longquan in the town. Legend has it that Nuwa was born in Fenggou, grew up in Fengtai and was buried in Fengfeng, all near the east side of Longcheng Town. On the half cliff of Fenggou, there is a deep Nuwa cave, which is gourd-shaped when contracted and released. It is said that Nu Wa was born in this cave, or that Nu Wa once lived in this cave, or that Nu Wa practiced in this cave. Longcheng Town also has a spring, known as the "Longquan" in the world and a "Longquan well". The mystery of this well is that its water level remains constant all the year round, whether it is raining or drought, it never dries up. It is said that Nu Wa used this spring to make people.
