Rich in water resources, there are 62 1 rivers in Heilongjiang and Nenjiang. The per capita urban ownership is 3.5 times that of the whole country and 2.6 times that of Heilongjiang Province.

Rivers are all mountainous rivers with large drop, so there are many dam sites suitable for building hydropower stations. The hydropower reserve in the black section of the main stream of Heilongjiang150,000 kilowatts. The installed capacity of inland rivers is 670,000 kilowatts, accounting for 52% of the province. The total installed capacity of 10 hydropower station reaches194,000 kilowatts. There are 93 kinds of mineral resources, more than 4 10, and 56 kinds of proven reserves of 22 1, among which gold, copper, agate, limestone, mineral water and other mineral resources 15 rank first in the province. Duobaoshan Copper Mine is the second largest copper mine in China, and it is also known as the three cold springs in the world together with Wudalianchi mineral water, French Weixi mineral water, Georgian mineral water and Caucasian mineral water.

Heihe City is rich in mineral resources, and the Daxing 'anling, Heihe and Yichun iron polymetallic industrial belts cross the territory. The city has discovered 95 kinds of metallic minerals such as black, color, precious and rare, and nonmetallic minerals such as energy, chemical raw materials, metallurgical auxiliary materials and rare elements, and 37 kinds have been identified, accounting for 72.5% and 48% of the province and 53.9% and 24.2% of the country respectively. More than 600 mineral deposits have been discovered, including 73 proven reserves, and the potential economic value of major mineral resources is about 654.38+000 billion yuan. At present, the proven reserves of copper, molybdenum, tungsten and zeolite 16 resources rank first in the province. Among them, Duobaoshan copper mine is the largest copper mine in Northeast China, and Cuihongshan iron polymetallic mine is the second largest iron mine in the province. The proven reserves of coal resources are 960 million tons. In addition, the reserves of characteristic mineral resources such as platinum group metals, pyrite and perlite are relatively high, which is rare in other cities in the province.
