A person, a piece of chalk, a piece of love, a word left behind, woven the children's dreams, perhaps let them learn to write, perhaps let them learn to sing, our actions, let them know the outside world. Break through the barrier of mountains and weave colorful hopes!

Laodaogou Primary School is located in Laodaogou Village, Deting Town, Songxian County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. 1 100 The population is distributed in dozens of residential areas of 16 villagers' group, with scattered residence and inconvenient transportation. It is a famous poor village in Luoyang. Most students have to eat and live in school because they are running around steep mountains and streams all the year round. The school covers an area of more than 850 square meters, with a building area of more than 450 square meters. There are 45 primary school students, 23 infants and 68 students, 80% of whom are left-behind children. There are only three regular teachers, two of whom are 55 years old and about to retire. There are only three classes in the school 1-3 grade. Due to the limitation of teaching resources and geographical environment, only young students in the village study here, and senior students and students from neighboring villages have to go over mountains to other schools. There are only two courses in the school: Chinese and math.

In order to let the world outside the mountains enter the children in the mountains, the dust love society launched a love education activity with the theme of "breaking through the barriers of the mountains and weaving colorful hopes" in Laodaogou Primary School!

1. Determine the teaching staff: Registration for this summer teaching activity began in mid-April, and through layer-by-layer selection, 12 college students were finally determined at the end of April.

2. Contact the teaching school: the team leader contacted Yun Yun, a caring volunteer in Song County, to find a poor primary school in Song County that needed help, and finally contacted Laodaogou Primary School in Deting Town, Song County, and negotiated with the principal of the school many times to determine the teaching activities.

3. Pre-field investigation: At the beginning of May, the team leader followed Songxianba volunteers to Laodaogou Primary School for field investigation and took photos.

4. Apply for teaching funds: Chen Ai Society began to prepare teaching applications, project budgets and other matters in May. After a month's efforts and constant revision and revision by all members, it finally submitted an application to the Overseas Chinese Foundation at the end of May, and successfully obtained a grant of 2,000 yuan.

Every Saturday and Sunday in May and June, volunteers took photos in groups in the campuses, museums, Longmen Grottoes, Baima Temple and Guanlin Temple of three universities in Luoyang (Henan University of Science and Technology, Luoyang Institute of Technology and Luoyang Teachers College), and intercepted pictures of local customs, places of interest and scenic spots on the Internet.

In the afternoon, the bar owner of Qifengqiu Temple in Songxian County personally came to the school to express his condolences. The headmaster and the team members cleaned the dormitory and packed their bags together. Because the school is located deep in the mountains and there is no supermarket in life, the captain and karate brother go to the town to concentrate on purchasing vegetables, rice, dried noodles and other foods. In the evening, the first group meeting will be held and we will arrive at the supporting primary school. According to the specific class situation of the school, arrange courses, class teachers and classroom teachers to teach in the first, second and third grades respectively.

On the morning of July 12, teachers and students cleaned the campus and classes together, arranged classrooms and interacted with teachers and students. In the afternoon, according to the curriculum, normal teaching will begin. Seven courses, English, Chinese, Mathematics, Physical Education, Music, Fine Arts, Handicraft and Geography, are offered to enrich children's summer study and get in touch with more courses besides Chinese and Mathematics.

After school in the afternoon, under the leadership of the captain, milk and egg yolk pie were distributed to the children. The children are very sensible, thank the teacher and happily take things home for their parents to eat.

On July 16, after teaching, the team members began to paint the walls of Laodaogou Primary School, adding new colors to the campus. We painted animated images such as underwater world, jubilant, Snow White and Mickey Mouse on the wall. The children are very happy to see the beautiful and colorful murals. After three days of hard work, 18 successfully completed the wall painting.

On the afternoon of July 17, a team member who was teaching in Song County had a minor accident and was hospitalized. Two representatives from Songxian Education Bureau visited our house in person, repeatedly asked for attention to the personal safety of teachers and students, and sent us five watermelons.

On July 19, two staff members of Henan TV News Channel came to Laodaogou Primary School to plan an investigation and interview on the wishes of poor left-behind children. In the afternoon, I accompanied them to the home of three children, which had a deep influence on me.

On July 20th, the much-anticipated fun sports meeting officially started, and many sports events were held in the morning and afternoon. After school, we awarded prizes and certificates to the winning students.

On July 24th, we are going back to school. After class in the morning, we took photos with our classmates. We are reluctant to part, and the children have folded many presents for us personally. Despite our repeated opposition, some students braved the rain to send us out of the mountain in the afternoon, which made us very moved. In this way, our two-week teaching life ended successfully in the rain!

The number of students was insufficient from 30 at the beginning, and eventually increased to more than 60, which added joy to the children's boring summer class, and also enabled them to learn a lot of extracurricular knowledge and feel the care from the motherland and society.

1. Before departure, 1 team members temporarily left their jobs due to family business and were replaced by friends. Considering the small number of students in Laodaogou Primary School, I coordinated with three members before leaving and transferred to another teaching team in our college.

2. In the middle of the activity, due to insufficient awareness of prevention, the project was unsustainable due to unexpected loss of funds in 600 yuan. Finally, the group leader used his own money as funds to ensure the normal teaching activities. But it also taught us a profound lesson.
