Changsha, also known as Xingcheng, is a prefecture-level city, provincial capital and megacity under the jurisdiction of Hunan Province. It is located in the middle of China, downstream of Xiangjiang River, on the west edge of Changliu Basin, and in the northeast of Hunan, between1153'-1414. It belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, with mild climate, abundant precipitation and both rain and heat.
Changsha is an important central city in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the central city of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan urban agglomeration, the national comprehensive reform experimental zone of "two-oriented society", the national important grain production base, the important node city of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration and the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the comprehensive transportation hub and the national logistics hub.

The temperature changes greatly in spring, with more rain in early summer, long high temperature in summer and autumn and less cold in winter. From late March to mid-May, cold and warm air crossed each other, forming continuous rainy and low temperature weather.
