Basic situation of Mumen Town

Mumen Town is located in the southeast edge of wangcang county, at the intersection of Wangcang, Nanjiang and Cangxi counties. It was called "one foot and three counties" in ancient times with a population of 22,000.

It governs 13 administrative villages and 1 community neighborhood committees, covering an area of 54 square kilometers. The territory has a mild climate, fertile land, rich products, convenient transportation and prosperous market. It has the largest rural market in Wangcang and is known as the "grain and rice warehouse" in Wangcang. The former site of the Wooden Gate Military Conference (the Wooden Gate Military Conference Memorial Hall) and the Red Army Stone Carved Archway are provincial-level key protected cultural relics. 1990 was designated as a famous historical and cultural town at the provincial level, and it was listed as a pilot small town at the provincial level in 200 1 year. In 2008, the town's total grain output reached 9,700 tons, 36,400 pigs were slaughtered, 31.10 million small poultry were slaughtered, tea production reached 1.50 tons, GDP reached 73.9 million yuan, and per capita net income reached 2,384 yuan.
