Yongningbazi

Our ancestors have been living in Yongning since they moved to the distant Han Dynasty, living on this peaceful and quiet dam and gradually becoming authentic Mosuo families. This is a magical land surrounded by mountains and crossed by crystal clear rivers. "There are clouds on Lion Mountain and long queues under Kaiji Bridge" well summarizes the overall characteristics of Yongning Bazi.

Yongning bazi is named after a large small plain on the plateau. Looking at Yongning bazi from the front of the house, the bazi is a small disk surrounded by mountains, and the surrounding mountains are the edges of the disk. These mountains add many magical colors to Yongning bazi.

There is Lion Mountain in the east, also known as the Goddess of Gemstone Mountain. Needless to say, the reputation of the Goddess of Gemstone Mountain. Every day, the sun rises from Lion Mountain. Lion Mountain stands on the bridge in front of my house, looking at my house like a sitting lion. It can be seen from the lion's lying posture and face that he is a kind lion, but his burly body has the momentum to shock others, guarding Yongning Bazi day and night. Lion Mountain is really a magical mountain in my memory.

When we were young, we often went to the village public places to play during the Spring Festival. I remember one time we played late into the night. It was a night when the moon was very high. We could walk freely without flashlights. Several of our children were sitting on the haystack, and the aunt who took us to play pointed to the middle between the top of Lion Mountain and Zhushan Mountain. Let's see the auspicious clouds there now. Clouds are changing at any time, showing the shapes of various animals, such as cows, horses, sheep ... the weather forecast of Lion Mountain or aunt. Whenever there is a cloud winding halfway up Lion Mountain, my aunt says it's cloudy today. When these clouds gradually moved up to cover the lion's head, Ayi knew it was going to rain, and the vegetables dried in the yard should be put away as soon as possible.

Speaking of Ayi, you can see the weather from the mountain. There is also a mountain behind my house, which is called "hurry up" in Mosuo. This mountain has never touched me. I have never been near it, and I feel it is far away from me, but at first glance, it is close at hand. Whenever it is found that it begins to rain on that mountain, it means that a rainstorm is coming, and it will rain soon, which makes people unprepared. Tall corn will be hit by a rainstorm, and strong winds will tilt them to one side. After the storm and gale, farmers can only hold corn stalks to reduce losses.

There is a sacred mountain-a mountain next to the Nazis, which is a pleasant mountain. According to legend, in ancient times, a monk flew back after learning Taoism and then rested there. Since then, Anshan has a mysterious color. On the hillside behind the house, there is also a crutch that the monk inserted in the soil when passing through this land. This crutch sucks nutrients from the land to survive. Now it has grown into an old tree. In the valley below Anshan, there are walnut trees and pear trees planted by villagers. In the past, we would have a picnic in the Woods every festival over the mountains, and the valley was crowded with people. As far as I can remember, it will rain on Zhuanshan Festival. The yellow mud is very delicate, and the slender mugwort is twisted and covered with mud, so people who step on mugwort will also splash mud. The mountain spring flowing out of Anshan is also regarded as divine water. When you are tired from climbing mountains or in hot weather, it is always refreshing to drink cold and cool mountain springs here. Always pick up a bottle of mountain spring water when you go to Anshan, so that families who can't come to Lushan for a picnic can also drink clean water.

There is also a holy mountain in the south. I can't say which mountain it is. It is said that it was the last place where the monks who stayed in Anshan lived. I haven't been to that area, only that all the bamboo needed in the dam comes from there, where there is plenty of water and dense forests. There is a dragon cave under the mountain in that area, and three rivers meet nearby to form the Kaiji River.

The mountains around Yongning Bazi protect people who live here day and night, giving them a sense of security, and its rich mythical color gives them a sense of ceremony. In the lonely days away from civilization, I found the meaning of happiness and life of ancient people and created melodious historical songs. This land also precipitated the culture of Mosuo people living in this land, and gave birth to the kind and hardworking Mosuo people.
