Typhoon time in Shenzhen

On September 2, Shenzhen was hit by a typhoon.

The center of Typhoon Sura No.9 this year landed on the southern coast of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province at about 3: 30 am on September 2, 2023. When landing, the maximum wind force near the center 14 (45 m/s, strong typhoon level), and the lowest air pressure in the center is 950 hectopascals. Shenzhen was also affected by the typhoon.

At about 3: 30 Beijing time on September 2, 2023, Typhoon Sura landed on the southern coast of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province with a strong typhoon level, and its intensity gradually weakened and moved away from Shenzhen. The Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory downgraded Typhoon red warning signal at 8: 00 15 on September 2nd. After research and decision by the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, Shenzhen lifted the measures of "five stops" (suspension of classes, work, business, market and service) in the whole city at 8: 0015, Beijing time on September 2, 2023.
