Is there much rain in Liuzhou, Guangxi?

Liuzhou, located in the north-central part of Guangxi, has a subtropical monsoon climate. The main atmospheric circulation affecting Liuzhou is monsoon circulation, with southerly winds prevailing in summer, high temperature, high humidity and rainy days, northerly winds prevailing in winter, cold and dry, and little rain. Summer is long and winter is short, with the same season of rain and heat. There are abundant climatic resources of light, temperature and water, but there are great regional differences, and the climatic characteristics of mountainous areas in northern counties are obvious.

The annual total rainfall is 1345 ~ 1940mm, but the regional distribution and seasonal changes are great. The rainy season generally begins in late April and ends in early September, during which precipitation accounts for more than 70% of the annual precipitation. Rainfall distribution is more in the north than in the south, and more in the mountains than in the plains. The Beijiang River Basin in Rongshui County is the rainy center of Liuzhou City, with an annual precipitation of over 2,000 mm and an average annual evaporation of 1.600 ~ 1.700 mm, which gradually decreases from south to north. The south 1.700mm is more than the precipitation, and it is in a semi-humid and semi-dry state, while the precipitation in the north mostly exceeds the evaporation, and the climate is humid.
