How do crop circles appear?
Crop circles are almost as well-known as the Bermuda Triangle, but the mystery of the crop circles seems to be more difficult to solve than the Bermuda Triangle, which is believed to be the invention of plane and ship crashes by a group of novelists and frogs in the well. Not every crop circle has a culprit behind it, and some have been proven to be natural phenomena rather than man-made, making it difficult to tell the difference between real and fake. At first, it was natural to think that it was made by aliens, or that the wheat had its own intelligence, but as time went on, things became more "off". Crop circles are thought to have started in Hampshire and the West End in the early 1970s, before spreading like a virus around the world. In fact, crop circles were recorded as early as 1678, and since no one could explain their formation, the "wheat devil" took responsibility.
At first, these crop circles were simply circles, single lines, or patterns, but by the 1990s, crop circle designs became more and more powerful, and each circle even had its own name, such as "Galaxy", "Alien Portrait", "Chemical Elements" and more. By 2012, there was even the "Mother of Crop Circles". With so many strange crop circles, it’s not like there aren’t scientists out there investigating. Back in 1989, a group of scientists launched Operation White Crow, promising to find the culprit of crop circles.
Operation White Crow lasted for 10 days, monitoring crop circles 24 hours a day. The 25-person research team includes meteorologists, physicists, and scientists who measure and analyze weather anomalies and other oddities. But this time, they didn't catch anyone and were warned by the military. Some on the team also experienced unexplained hallucinations and hearing voices, but they took eerie photos of white flashes in the sky and "strangely positioned" wheat stalks. Coupled with the military's obstruction, Britain became the focus of public opinion and the number of tourists increased dramatically.
People have to pay to see crop circles. Therefore, some people say that this is a conspiracy by the British government to promote the development of tourism; others say that aliens created the crop circles, and the truth has been classified as a military secret. In 1990, frustrated scientists changed "Operation White Bird" to "Operation Blackbird" and began another investigation. This operation lasted for more than half a month, and the crop circle was really discovered. But when the investigation team rushed over, there was no one in the crop circle, but there were miscellaneous tools such as fortune tellers, wooden crosses, and red ropes. There was no doubt that it was man-made.
