Brief introduction of Ruzhou Dahongzhai Geopark

Henan Ruzhou Dahongzhai Provincial Geopark is located in the northeast of Ruzhou City, 35 kilometers away from the urban area. Belonging to the Lushan Mountain Range, it is a comprehensive geological park characterized by the denuded landform and typical geological profile of the canyon steep cliffs, supplemented by water bodies, and the human landscape and ecological landscape reflect each other. The park is located in the junction zone between North China Platform and Qinling Fold System, with a peculiar structure and has experienced a long and complicated multi-cycle unbalanced geological evolution process. The strata are fully exposed and the geological relics are typical, which has high scientific research value. The main peak of Dahongzhai is1140.6m above sea level. The whole scenic spot is dominated by Dahongzhai and Xiaohongzhai, and the mountains stretch for hundreds of miles. The original state of the scenic spot is well preserved, with beautiful mountains and rivers, beautiful natural scenery, many strange stones, quiet caves and clear springs, and beautiful valleys and mountains. Huaguoshan, water curtain cave, Longgong, Longdong, Nanwagangzhai, Fan Lihua Village, Ancestral Temple Site, Bailong Temple Site, Yinmaquan, Giant Buddha Stone, Monk Pagoda, Doll Fish Pond and Shenma Stone are all representatives of the natural scenery of Dahongzhai.
