Visiting international cuisine under the epidemic situation? Beverage exhibition

Charm of Zhang Mu Exhibition Center in Chiba, Japan

In order to understand the general situation of large-scale activities held under the epidemic situation, I recently decided to visit the famous curtain exhibition center in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, where "Foodex Japan 202 1" is being held. The exhibition from March 9th to 12 is a large-scale exhibition. The main purpose of my visit is to understand the general situation of various activities under the epidemic situation and see the development of those industries and the overall economy. So I decided to get to know it on March 10, the last day. I deliberately chose to go before noon, mainly to avoid the crowded time. Sure enough, when I got off the bus, I found a crowd, but not as much as I expected, and I didn't feel crowded. A famous exhibition should attract many people, but in fact the result is not as expected. It seems that the epidemic still has a certain impact on the whole exhibition, so it is inevitable that there are not many people.

I found out from the people who got off the bus that not all of them came to visit the convention and exhibition center, some of them lived there, and there were also visitors for other purposes, because there was an outlet business circle in front of the station. At first, the idea of Zhang Mu Convention and Exhibition Center was not only to build a convention and exhibition center, but also for the development of the government as a new city. So, this is already a new town. Due to the early international integration, there is still a very international feeling around Zhang Mu Convention and Exhibition Center. After all, international conferences and exhibitions are often held here. So most of the residents living here are blue-collar workers.

It is about 400 meters from the station to the meeting place. After I got off the bus, I followed in people's footsteps. The road is almost full of scattered guests and bustling pedestrians. You can keep a large distance from the person in front without deliberately keeping a distance. This is what I saw that day (March 10). It was a clear sky in Wan Li, and I have been paying attention to the construction of this new city all the way. It is completely different from the old city of Tokyo, full of modern buildings and facilities, clean and spacious roads and elegant environment. The whole new town may not have the hustle and bustle of the city, but the overall living function is quite perfect, the traffic extends in all directions smoothly, and all kinds of facilities are complete, which is very suitable for living. So many people who work in Tokyo choose to settle here and start a happy family life.

The seaside curtain (JR station name) with strong international atmosphere, because all kinds of conferences and exhibitions are held here all the year round, many famous hotels and brand stores invest here, so even shopping is very interesting. There is Tokyo Disneyland on the way to Tokyo and Narita Airport on the way to Chiba. Although most of the people you see here are Japanese, it is quite common for foreigners to shuttle through this city. You won't be surprised that various languages are intertwined here. The use of multiple languages also adds to the international color of the city. This is the characteristic of seaside curtains, and it is also an international small city.

Due to the aging of exhibition venues in Tokyo in the past and the change of transportation convenience, as a substitute of Tokyo International Trade Exhibition Center (closed) and a part of the new development of Zhang Mu's new capital, Chiba Japan Convention and Exhibition Center (International Exhibition Center) was completed in Nakase, Meibin District, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture on June 9, 1989. In the same month, the 28th Tokyo Auto Show was held in Shosho International Exhibition Center, with 15 countries participating. It was the largest auto show in the history at that time, with about 1.92 million visitors, which caused great shock.

Since then, it has been Japan's leading international trade exhibition venue and exhibition facilities, used to hold various international trade exhibitions, international conference activities, concerts and so on. In particular, the use of music and animation activities has increased, reaching the record of 2 100 exhibition hall every year in 20 16 years. Therefore, the utilization rate in 20 16 years is as high as 70%-80%. Maintaining a high participation probability is a major feature of the curtain exhibition center, and popularity is the main performance of its popularity.

Chiba Curtain Exhibition Center in Chiba Prefecture consists of four buildings: International Exhibition Hall/KOOC-0/-8, International Exhibition Hall 9-/KOOC-0//KOOC-0/(North Hall), International Conference Hall and Curtain Activity Hall. The total area of the facility is 265,438+0,765,438+0,565,438+0.47m2, with four floors above ground and one underground (RC and S materials). The building area is 88,940 square meters and the exhibition area is 54,000 square meters. The building was designed by Masahiro Kuniko, who won the Takamatsu Memorial Hall, praemium imperiale and Pritzker Architecture Awards. The structural design is provided by Toshihiko Kimura and Structural Design Group Co., Ltd., and the construction is carried out by the general construction company including five super general contractors (chief builders and chief builders). The operating company was established on April 30th, 2005 1986 and July 30th, 2005, and its name was changed from "Japan Convention Center" to "Curtain Exhibition Co., Ltd.".

In addition, this exhibition center operated by Zhang Mu Exhibition Co., Ltd. has won many awards in Japan as an excellent architectural work, such as the 32nd and 40th BCS Awards (Building Industry Association Award), IAITA quarterly Nario Award and the 5th Chiba County Architectural Culture Award. Therefore, the facilities and equipment are perfect, the venue is very comfortable, the planning and design of the tourist route is relatively reasonable, and the related service facilities are complete. It is a very good exhibition center, which is widely favored and appreciated by exhibitors.

Therefore, almost all large-scale conferences and exhibitions will be held here, which is a place familiar to Japanese nationals. The main reason is that the traffic is very convenient and smooth. It is only 30 minutes' drive from Tokyo Station, Haneda Airport 1 hour and Narita Airport 1 half an hour, all within a relatively convenient range. Therefore, it is widely welcomed by organizers of various activities.

The exhibition is arranged in Hall 4-8. After I entered the exhibition, I first found that although there were no sparse pictures, there were no crowded scenes, which was obviously affected by the epidemic. Judging from the participating countries and regions, there are probably China, Korean, Indonesian, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Taiwan Province Province of China. Probably the United States, Canada, France, Italy, Czech Republic, Sweden, Finland and so on. Other counties and cities in Europe, America and Japan will participate in the exhibition. Only Lujiu and Maotai came to Chinese mainland to participate in the exhibition, which seemed to be scared off by the epidemic. At the same time, no exhibitors attend the exhibition in person, so all exhibitors participate in the exhibition by remote video, that is, if you are interested in Shandong products, staff will contact each other for video exchange immediately. Perhaps this is the reason, so the number of visitors to several display cabinets is slightly less. This proves that the so-called transaction still needs someone to explain before anyone is willing to enter the exchange.

What moves me is that due to the epidemic, whether to participate in the exhibition has become a major concern of all countries. Shandong Province of China does not give up any opportunity, and tries its best to participate in any form. Although there are not many requirements, dozens of showcases are one of the largest participating groups in this exhibition. Therefore, the word "Shandong Province" hung high at the meeting place is the most striking one, which has made great contributions to the marketing of China and Shandong Province.

To this end, I specially visited two honey production enterprises and had a direct dialogue with Du Zong and Zhang Zong, producers in Shandong, China. It turns out that I know that honey from Shandong is very popular in Japan. Most of the honey we have tasted comes from Shandong. For me who likes honey, I am immediately grateful. I decided on the spot that if I could, I would try my best to help these two manufacturers, especially to tell them how to establish their own brand and the concept of marketing the world, rather than just producing honey raw materials for others. I must lay a solid foundation for my efforts, establish a proud brand and make a long-term plan for sustainable development, so as not to lose the original intention of starting a business.

Similarly, I also saw that Kweichow Moutai was the only representative of Chinese mainland wine merchants, and it also used a larger booth. Because there are special people to explain and serve, relatively speaking, there are more people who consulted in the past. At the scene, it has made great publicity effect for the fine wine produced in Guizhou, not only marketing its own products, but also showing the specialties of Guizhou Province to everyone.

Various food and beverage exhibitions and roadshows, as well as showcases in various countries and regions, have their own characteristics. All the exhibits are the latest creative achievements of various manufacturers and their prospects for the future, which fully proves and shows the ingenious relationship of "food is the sky for the people and I think for the people". Although the on-site exhibits are dazzling, they are still full of charm. My personal feeling is that in such an atmosphere, if you are also on the scene, I believe that all the products presented to you will not be overlooked, or you don't want to stop and have a taste, perhaps out of interest in the products, perhaps out of curiosity about the products, or perhaps just fascinated by the exquisite and attractive colors. Anyway, you will always stop, enjoy yourself and have a taste. This is the charm of the latest product. "Color, fragrance and taste" is the concrete embodiment of the catering exhibition. Their respective bright colors, full scents and delicious temptations are presented in front of your eyes in a three-dimensional way, which makes you feel personally and hard to refuse. This is the charm of the food and beverage exhibition. Besides, I respect the hard work of R&D personnel. After all, after years of research and development, they have made great efforts to achieve such results, which certainly deserves respect and applause.

My summary: the so-called convention and exhibition center, as its name implies, is set up for various conferences and exhibitions, but how and where to set it up is the lesson I want to learn most after investigating the epidemic situation. From my two visits, the answer is very clear. The epidemic has really affected people's way of life, changed people's thinking and dealt a great blow to the development of all walks of life. A far-reaching food and beverage exhibition was also ruthlessly destroyed by the epidemic, but the organizer decided to hold it this time, which proves that although the epidemic still poses a great threat, now that it has been launched, it means that dawn is coming, opportunities are coming, prosperity is reappearing, and optimism can be expected.

As for the so-called convention and exhibition center, I have different views after my visit. Traditionally, most people think that the convention and exhibition center should be located in a place with convenient transportation, but the so-called convenience does feel convenient if viewed from the map, especially with rail transit as the core. But in fact, the convenience of the subway comes from places where commercial and residential people gather more, and its so-called convenience is really important. However, as an exhibition venue, it should have the function of rapid gathering and dispersion, otherwise it will definitely affect the traffic of the whole road, and then cause traffic paralysis. Therefore, the setting of convention and exhibition center should not be based on simple "convenient transportation", but should take into account that the overall transportation construction must be "unobstructed" to be correct. Because the convenient traffic on the map and the actual smooth traffic are completely different concepts. Personally, "convenience" can be interpreted as the convenience of transportation network, but it is not known whether there is "unobstructed" in fact, which is not the same concept. Therefore, if a new convention and exhibition center overemphasizes convenience and ignores important smoothness, then the convention and exhibition center will usher. The subway seems convenient, but the ground traffic is extremely unobstructed, which eventually leads to difficulties in coordination and traffic paralysis.

Moreover, a convention and exhibition center, if designed solely for exhibitions, is likely to become a "mosquito house" when there are few exhibitions. Zhang Zhang conceived, designed and planned with the concept of new capital development, and finally turned Meibin District of Chiba City into an out-and-out international exhibition town and a super-functional city.

Nowadays, in addition to the convention and exhibition center, there is also a huge professional baseball field, forming a city with a permanent population of nearly10.5 million. Its success lies in that the original idea is correct. It enables a conference center to promote conferences and exhibitions, serve manufacturers in various places and countries, promote local development and create a new city with high vitality. At the same time, in addition to the exhibition function, the exhibition center can also become a beautiful business card of the city.
