How to break the position of cold front

1, according to the symbol. Generally, there are symbols on the schematic diagram of the front, the semicircle indicates the warm front, the sawtooth indicates the cold front, and the direction of the sawtooth symbol is the direction of the cold front.

2, according to the location of the rain area. The cold front rain area is behind the front and the warm front is in front. The cold front is steep and the warm front is gentle.

3. Judge according to the direction in the picture. Generally speaking, the cold front in the northern hemisphere will move southward. Because the temperature in the north is low. Of course, China also has a cold front pushing eastward.

4. According to the change of weather crossing, if a front crosses the border and the weather changes brought by a cold front, such as strong wind, cooling and heavy rainfall, then the weather is fine and the air pressure rises. This shows that it is a cold front crossing the border. Then determine its forward path according to the direction in the figure.
