The weather in Chicago has been abnormal these past two years. In mid-May last year, I wore a windbreaker one day, and the next day it got very hot and I could wear short-sleeves. So far this year, the temperature is still hovering around zero. It's very windy in Chicago. It will feel colder than the actual temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to wear long sleeves.

For fun:

Lakeside: Grand Park + Buckingham Fountain + Millennium Park + a series of museums + Navy Pier;

North: Lincoln Park

Climb: Sears Tower (currently the tallest building in North America) and John Hancock (restaurant + view)

Schools: Northwestern University in the north and Northwestern University in the south The University of Chicago is worth a visit.

Shopping:

State Street is in Downtown;

Famous brand stores are mostly on Michigan Ave north of the Chicago River to Water Tower

In the evening, I mainly just go shopping or go to a bar. The bar area is mostly on the north side. The two shopping areas just mentioned are almost empty after they close at eight or nine in the evening. In addition, Navy Pier will be more lively at night, and there will be fireworks on Wednesday and Saturday nights starting in May and June.
