Always check the whole pipeline system from the gas source to the water heater, smear the pipeline and joints with soapy water foam, and check whether there are cracks, aging, looseness and other faults in the gas pipeline and external rubber hose to ensure no air leakage.

The cleaning method is to unscrew the water inlet pipe and take out the filter screen for cleaning.

Check the heat exchanger and main burner once every six months or once a year to see if there is any blockage. If there is, it should be cleaned up in time, otherwise it will cause incomplete combustion, produce harmful gases, and in serious cases, poisoning incidents will occur. Check the nozzle and thermocouple. The gas water heater has been used for a long time, and it is easy to deposit carbon at the nozzle and thermocouple, which affects the smooth ignition.

Before using the gas water heater every time, check whether the window or exhaust fan of the room where the water heater is installed is open and the ventilation is good. When in use, if the water inlet valve is opened and it is found that the fire is not lit and gas overflows, the water inlet valve should be closed immediately and then opened after a pause.

If it can't ignite for many times, stop the machine for maintenance. Open the water inlet valve, ignite, release hot water after 45 seconds, and then adjust the water quantity as needed.

In windy weather, when it is found that the room where the water heater is installed backfires or the flue water heater pours smoke from the flue, the water heater should be suspended or an anti-backfire device should be installed.

If it is found that the flame overflows the shell or the flame escapes during operation, the operation shall be suspended. Black smoke emitted from the upper part of the water heater during operation indicates that the heat exchanger has been seriously blocked or there are foreign bodies in the burner. Stop the machine immediately and contact for maintenance. It is found that there is flame escaping from the water heater, which may be because the gas pressure is too high or the gas source is wrong, so it should be stopped and the reason should be found out.

After the gas water heater is used up, the valves of gas and water inlet pipeline must be closed. When minors and relatives and friends from other places use water heaters, they should pay special attention to safety guidance and teach them to use them correctly. Don't be careless

Attention should be paid to prevent corrosion of smoke exhaust pipes, and the flue should not leak or be blocked.

Do not use expired gas water heaters. According to the national standard GB 17905- 1999, gas water heaters are scrapped for 8 years from the date of sale, and artificial gas water heaters are scrapped for 6 years.
