Climate in Alashan, Inner Mongolia

Based on the meteorological records of Alashan Plateau 196 l ~ 2000 100, the windy weather in Alashan Plateau for 40 years was analyzed by using the method of climate statistics.

Spatial and temporal variation characteristics and regional differences, combined with terrain and large-scale weather system changes, analyze the natural environment of windy weather. The analysis results show that the high value area of windy weather is located in the west of Alashan Plateau. From the annual distribution, the windy weather in the study area is concentrated in April-July, accounting for 54.3% of the annual windy weather, followed by March and August, accounting for 18.0% of the annual windy weather. Judging from the annual change, the annual change of windy weather in Alashan is characterized by a gradual increase in the 1960s, a peak in the 1970s or 1980s, a gradual decrease in the 1990s, and the lowest in 40 years. The windy weather in Alashan Plateau is affected by global climate change, large-scale weather system, local topography and underlying surface properties, and the frequent periods of sandstorm weather correspond to anti-El Nino events and dry and cold climate periods.
