However, things are unpredictable, and my friend who promised to go with me has never been heard from since. But the expectations in my heart have not dropped at all. Always want to go there, perhaps for a concern, an expectation, a surprise, or a home.

So, in this early summer season, we started a five-day trip to Shennongjia, Hubei Province with our sister who just had a desire to travel.

Hubei is far from Shanghai. If you choose to travel freely and drive on the rugged mountain road, it is difficult to ensure the safety of two people's journey. It is relatively easy to take part in a five-day group tour on Ctrip (the tour fee is 2550 yuan/person, including all transportation, accommodation, all tickets, boat tickets and meals for the middle three days). There is always a gap between imagination and reality. The imaginary Shennongjia should be an endless mountain. Pedestrians walk along the stream in the canyon, surrounded by dense vegetation, and sometimes there are golden monkeys. They playfully ask tourists for food and play all the way, accompanied by gentle mountain breeze. Fresh air is sucked into the nose. The farther you go into the mountains, the more comfortable and peaceful you are. But the reality is that tourists take a tour bus, drive along the Panshan Highway, stop at one scenic spot for a short time, and then go to another scenic spot. They don't have the freedom to walk. In close contact with the wild mountains, they wild at heart. The long driving time also interferes with the investment and concentration of the tour to some extent. It's not that the sunset is more charming.

Perhaps, Shennongjia is vast, broad and deep, and the scenic spots are dotted, which requires such a Panshan Highway to be realized. But in any case, I finally unveiled her mysterious veil and finally enjoyed her unique beauty.

After dinner, walk along Jiyun Road West to Binjiang Park. It is the time when the sun goes down. Looking at the end of the Yangtze River from a distance, the sunset slowly sets in the west, and red clouds accumulate, dyeing the western sky and river, emitting soft golden light, and the blood is like fire, which is extremely spectacular.

Muyu Town Muyu Town is located in the south of Shennongjia, with an altitude of 1200m and a long history. In the swallow cliff in early summer, azaleas and lilacs are in full bloom, and the greenery of distant mountains is spreading, which makes people relaxed and happy.

7. In the off-season of tourism, there are few bus services in that scenic spot, which have long since disappeared. It is said that there are only five scenic spots in Shennongding Scenic Area, and the others are non-stop, and it seems that only tour groups are taken. I don't know exactly, because I haven't been there for two days.

8. When we arrived in Shennongjia, there was no bus and we had to rent a car. The price is 400 yuan, but I don't know how much it costs in the peak season. Very expensive! By private car, the driver is very skilled and the journey is not so bumpy. If you want to rent a car, I think it's cheaper to ask several people (three or four, not too many private car owners) to share it equally. The advantage of chartering a car is that you can stop at a small scenic spot and take a picture. The driver will wait for you. In short, it's like vip haha, but it's expensive!

9. Dajiuhu Scenic Area is on the other side of Shennongding. After visiting Shennongding, you can stay in Dajiu Lake and wait until the next morning to see the morning fog.

13. We stayed in Dajiu Lake until noon the next day, so we chose to stay in the hotel for another night. There is a shuttle bus from Pingqian Ancient Town (outside Dajiu Lake where we live) to Baisong Town (the largest town in Shennongjia) at 7: 00 the next day, and it will arrive at about 10: 00. We take the bus 1 1:30 (the last bus back to Shiyan, the fare is 70) and arrive around 4 pm.

Shennongding Scenic Area departs from Shiyan at 9:00 a.m. and stops at a small restaurant for dinner at noon 12:00 (a little expensive, 15 dishes, 20 eggs, 25 meats and a bowl of rice in 2 yuan). At three o'clock in the afternoon, I arrived at Muyu. It took 10 yuan to take the village bus to the transfer center because I didn't make an appointment with the driver at the hotel in Dajiuhu in advance.
