There were several frosts in May. Hail began again in June and July. The flowering and growth of vines are finally gratifying. The last day of September 10 ushered in the harvest.

1909

The severe frost of severe winter reappeared in early spring and lasted intermittently until mid-May. The vines bloom early and grow well. On September 26th, harvest began; During the harvest season, there are more rainy days.

19 1 1

The flowering period is very early and the grape growth period is long (the quality really lives up to expectations). Summer drought. The harvest period is from September 10 to September 12, during which the weather is excellent. Perfect maturity and excellent quality.

19 14

The flowering time is very long. At the beginning of July, mold prevailed, but fortunately it did not cause much loss. On September 28th, the harvest began. During the harvest season, the weather is very good. Excellent quality. 192 1

On April 15 and April 16, a disastrous severe frost came: on the night of April 15, the temperature dropped to -7℃, and on April 16, it was as low as -9℃, while the previous days (April/kloc-0 The flowering period progressed perfectly and the harvest period was completed quickly. Excellent quality.

1925

The vineyards in Baiqiu and Hans Mountain were hit by hail and suffered serious losses. Grapevine is often affected by cold weather at night during flowering.

The harvest lasted for more than a month. As we all know, the quality of grapes this year is quite good.

1928

Frost is common in May, especially in vineyards in autumn. Hail hit many vineyards and caused some losses. Although the flowering period is somewhat delayed, the situation is basically normal. On September 28th, the harvest was sunny at the beginning and rainy at the end. Grapes are in good condition and of good quality.

1934

May frost, fortunately, the loss is not big, only about 6% of the expected harvest. Bloom lives fast and looks gratifying. Grapes are rarely affected by mold and insect pests.

1937

On September 2 1 day, the weather was warm and dry, and the harvest was quickly completed on this day, but the grape screening work was very heavy. Generally speaking, the quality of grapes is very good.

1942

On May 4th and 5th, frost struck, and the losses were mainly concentrated in vineyards in the Marne Valley. The climate during flowering is very suitable. Excellent quality.

1943

During the flowering of vines, the temperature is low and there are showers. Harvest began on September 15, and the grapes were in good health and excellent quality. 1946

Buds germinate early, branches grow faster, but flowering is extremely slow. Harvest began at the end of September, and the weather just improved a few days ago.

The harvest is satisfactory and the quality is medium.

1947

June 10 Flowers are in full bloom. Harvest began on September 5th, the earliest year since 1893. The harvesting process is perfect. Excellent quality.

1948

There is hail in May, July and August. The vines are affected by adverse weather during flowering. At the end of August and the beginning of September, gray mold struck, but with the improvement of weather, gray mold ended. Harvest began on September 20, and the grapes looked healthy, but they were still affected by mold.

1949

Due to the cold weather, the flowering period lasted for more than three weeks. Harvest began in September 19 and will be finished soon. In the process of picking, mildew suddenly occurred, but fortunately the loss was not great.

195 1

Catastrophic frost has seriously affected three-quarters of vineyards, and the total output is expected to lose at least 70%. The vines germinated very early, and after frost, all grape varieties in most areas showed a consistent recovery and flowering trend. There is always cold wave interference during flowering. The harvest started late (June 65438+10/October 1 day), during which the weather was sunny, cold and dry. Grapes are generally healthy and of medium quality.

1953

Although the frost in May affected a large area of vineyards, it was not serious. Although the flowering started well, the process was slower than expected. The harvest began on September 15, during which the weather was mild and the grapes were very healthy. Because of the heavy rain a few days before the harvest, the grapes were soon full. Excellent quality.

1955

In May, frost spread all over Champagne, and the affected area of the Marne Valley reached10.5 million hectares, of which about 400 to 500 hectares of vineyards were destroyed. Flowering started slowly, then accelerated, and it was completed in a few days. The fruit-setting conditions are perfect. At the beginning of 10, most of the producing areas began to harvest, and the grapes were very healthy and of good quality.

1956

Winter frost has seriously damaged vines in some areas. Harvesting started from June+10/00 on October 8, 5438, and the progress was rapid and efficient, but the grape screening work was heavy. Medium quality.

1959

Although the flowering period started slowly, the rhythm accelerated in the later period, and the fruit setting was also very rapid. Harvest began on September 10. Due to the ideal weather conditions throughout the summer, grapes have excellent maturity. Excellent quality. Although the flowering period of 196 1 started slowly, it progressed rapidly from flowering to withering. Harvest began on September 20, during which the weather was suitable and the grapes were in good health. Excellent quality.

The flowering period of 1964 progressed rapidly from the beginning to the full flowering period, but the process was delayed due to the cold weather, but the ending was smooth. Harvest began in September 16, and it rained for the first two days. Fortunately, the weather improved later: sunny and high temperature. During the harvest period, the temperature continued to rise, but the acidity of grapes did not decrease significantly. Excellent quality.

1966 The flowering period is progressing smoothly. Storms between May and August caused a crop failure in about 200 hectares of vineyards in Champagne. On September 26th, the harvest began and the weather was fine. White grapes are in good health and good quality.

1969 summer storms are fierce and frequent, and hail has caused extensive losses to some vineyards-nearly 900 hectares of vineyards have failed to harvest. 65438+1 October1,sunny and dry, harvesting started, lasting 15 days. The harvested grapes are healthier than in the past two years. Excellent quality.

197 1 spring, the vines grow rapidly, but the frost from April 27 to 29 affected 1000 hectares of vineyards. The destructive weather is far from over: the hail on May 27th alone destroyed 650 hectares of vineyards. It continued to be cold in June. Due to the bad weather, the flowering period lasted from June to early July. The weather in July was generally good, but the hail and windy weather from July 27 to August 18 completely destroyed 2650 hectares of vineyards. Soil erosion in vineyards is serious. September 18, harvest begins. Grapes are of good quality.

Hail 19738 on May 3rd caused damage to the vineyards in Mesnier village. During flowering, the weather is excellent. Although there are occasional storms in summer, on the whole, the weather is dry. On September 28th, the harvest began. This year, the quality is very good.

The germination period of 1976 is from April 6 to 2 1 day, which varies with vineyards and grape varieties. The vines grow rapidly and flourish. The flowering period is between June10-June 15, which is earlier than previous years. Summer is extremely hot and rainy, the soil is extremely dry, and a large number of vineyards suffer from drought. As early as the beginning of August, grapes began to ripen; The early maturity of grapes surprised most grape farmers who were still on vacation and had to hurry back to prepare for harvest. This year's grapes are very early: it only takes 84 days from flowering to harvest. Grapes are of good quality and low acidity. The excellent maturity of grapes, high alcohol content and low acidity of juice fermentation make the base wine of 1976 distinctive in personality and unique in structure: rich, mellow and mild.

1979 germinated late. Chardonnay grows well as a whole and blooms rapidly. In vineyards with different terroir conditions, the harvest start dates are slightly in sequence: the earliest harvest starts from 65438+10.3, and the latest harvest starts from 65438+10.8. The overall quality of all grape varieties is excellent: natural fructose can convert the alcohol content to more than 9 degrees, and the acidity is close to 9 degrees. The base wine of 1979 is famous for its purity, and the aroma of Chardonnay is particularly touching. 1982

Although the growth of vines started late, it progressed smoothly in excellent weather. All grape varieties are growing well. Although many vines failed to bear fruit for two consecutive years, this year's fruit finally showed perfect quality. There is plenty of sunshine in September and the grapes are very ripe. For vineyards of different varieties and different locations, the harvest dates are slightly sequential: some started as early as September 17, while others started on September 20. Chardonnay is very harmonious and elegant.

1983

The weather was bad that spring, but the vines were not robbed because of the delay in the growing season. The harvest period is 10 from September 26th to June 3rd, and the harvest periods of different grape varieties are slightly sequential. The average yield per hectare is15,012 kg. Natural fructose can convert alcohol content to 9 degrees and total acidity to 8.5 degrees. Chardonnay liqueur has a delicate and surprising taste, and it is also more rounded.

1985

In June+10/October, 5438, the frost was extremely serious, and the freezing at -25℃ lasted for several days. Many vines are difficult to recover after frostbite, and hundreds of hectares of vineyards have to be uprooted. Frost at the end of April made some vineyards "worse". Fortunately, we finally expect good weather in July. Although the number of grapes per bunch is small, the amount of causal entities is large, and the weight of a single bunch is generally not low. From September 30th to1October, 65438+ 1 1 was harvested, and the fruit condition was very ideal. The grape juice composition of 1985 is similar to that of 1975, which is a classic year.

1988

It was mild and rainy last year, but in 1988, the weather was dry and humid until the grapes were ripe. Normal precipitation and high air pressure are suitable for grape growth. During the harvest period, although there are occasional showers, the weather conditions are generally good. Although the 88-year-old grape growing period is uneventful and often described as "mediocre" or "average", the base wine brewed is full of flavor, distinctive personality and surprising. Facts have proved that 1988 is an extraordinary year, a perfect combination of elegance and strength.

1990

After the mild and humid winter, spring frost and spring drought come one after another, and the light is particularly abundant. Because of the mild winter and the early germination of vines, champagne people are deeply worried about the damage of spring frost. Sure enough, on April 5 and April 19, frost raged: about 12000 hectares of vineyards (accounting for 45% of the total planting area) were seriously affected. But the frozen vines once again showed amazing tenacity, and the basal buds miraculously survived, which was really amazing. There was still destructive weather in early July, and then it turned hot, and the temperature and precipitation returned to normal, but the air pressure was abnormal. Chardonnay was harvested from September 1 1 to September 15. The maturity of grapes is extremely balanced, and the overall sugar-acid ratio is almost perfect. Excellent quality!

1995

After the mild and rainy winter, the temperature is higher in the first two weeks of April. There is a big temperature difference in April, and so is May and June. In summer, the climate is suitable and the vines bloom quickly. The harvest began in September 18 and lasted until June 10. Chardonnay is rich and full of vitality, among which the aroma of citrus, ginkgo and tropical fruits is particularly prominent.

1996

Winter is dry and cold, but fortunately there is little frost; In mid-April, the temperature rose sharply and vines began to sprout. It turned cold again in May. Although it didn't rain, the temperature was extremely low. At the beginning of June, the sun was shining and the temperature was high. The weather in summer is changeable: at the end of August, sometimes it is hot and sometimes it rains. The harvest began in September 16 and lasted until 10/0. 1996' s grape juice composition is very prominent ―― it is difficult to find the index level that can be compared with 1996 from the data of previous years! Its high glucose content and strong total acid make 1996 champagne have long-term cellar value.

1997

In winter and spring, the weather is sometimes cold and sometimes mild. On June 1 1, the vines in Mesnier began to blossom.

Summer is hot and dry, which is very conducive to grape ripening. On September 22, the harvest began: when harvesting during the day, the weather was still as hot as summer; However, the night is extremely cool, which keeps the grapes in excellent acidity.
