From Li Yu's "Li Weng Duiyun" in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.
Original text: The sky is against the earth, the rain is against the wind. Continent versus sky. Mountain flowers face the sea trees, and the red sun faces the sky. Thunder is faint, foggy, the sun is shining in the sky. The wind is high, the moon is white in autumn, and the sunset is red when it rains. The Ox Girl is around the two stars and the river, participating in the Shang Dynasty and fighting against the west and the east. In October, at the fortress border, the rustling frost startled the garrison; in the middle of winter, on the river, there was a lot of snow and cold fishermen.
Translation: In the rhyme of poetry, the sky and the earth correspond, the rain and the wind correspond, and the continent and the sky correspond. The mountain flowers correspond to the sea trees, and the red sun corresponds to the sky. Lei Yinyin corresponds to Wu Mengmeng. The sun corresponds to the sky. The wind is high, the white moon in autumn corresponds to the red sunset in the rain. The two stars of Ox and Girl correspond to the west and east of the two stars of Ginseng and Shang.
The weather at the border fortress in October was particularly cold. The chilling autumn wind and the frost all over the place made the soldiers guarding the border tremble; in the cold winter, heavy snow fell, and there was a small fishing boat sitting on the river. The fishermen were freezing.
