Yangzhou, also known as Guangling, a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, is one of the eight world heritage cities that won the UN Habitat Award, a national historical and cultural city, a famous hot spring city in China, and the Maritime Silk Road in China. It is the water source of the East Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer, and is known as "the capital of Huaizuo, the best place in the west of Zhuxi" and "the first city of China Canal".
