There are 42 bridges on the entire line, including 1 main line extra-large bridge, 23 large and medium bridges, 218 culverts, and 3 tunnels, with a total length of 4,008 meters. Among them, the single tunnel on the left line of the Jindong Tunnel is 2,015 meters long, which is the longest in Jiangxi Province. The longest road tunnel in the province so far.

There is no obvious difference between the four seasons, but it is rainy in summer and the moisture content of the roadbed filling is difficult to control, so it is not an ideal construction season. At other times, there is less precipitation and moderate temperatures, which facilitates the control of the moisture content of the roadbed fill and the compaction of the roadbed. During roadbed construction, if the soil quality is poor, even if the loose paving thickness is moderate and the rolling compaction meets the specifications, it will still be difficult to achieve the compaction standard. Therefore, all roadbed fills must be tested. In the construction of highways, coarse-grained soil is generally used for roadbed filling. This kind of soil is well graded and has its own properties. Generally, as long as the mechanical rolling is reasonable and the thickness of the loose paving is moderate, it is relatively easy to meet the requirements of the specification. The asphalt surface layer consists of three layers. The lower layer and the middle surface layer are made of coarse-grained asphalt concrete, each with a thickness of 6cm. The coarse aggregates in the middle and lower layers are all made of limestone gravel. Although the material source is satisfactory, the grain shape is not good and the content of needle flakes is high.

Practice has proved that it is impossible to produce aggregates with a grain shape that fully meets the requirements using a crocodile stone rolling mill. In the oil surface construction of the Zhenjiang section of the Second Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, the aggregates processed by hammer mills were used. Due to the good grain shape, the proportion design was smoother and the quality of the oil surface after paving was also higher.
