Matters needing attention in Anhui National Day Holiday Expressway

According to the regulations of the State Council Holiday Office, the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2008 is September 26th (Saturday), which is a normal weekend. National Day is one of the major holidays that are free to pass four times a year. According to the regulations, the free passage time is from 0: 00 on June 10 to 24: 00 on October 7, 10, * * 7 days. The range of free vehicles is passenger cars with less than 7 seats (including 7 seats) and motorcycles allowed to drive on ordinary toll roads. During the National Day, the above vehicles were released free of charge, without issuing cards or lifting poles, and the electronic toll collection (ETC) lane was normally opened.

This year's Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are not as continuous as before, and it is expected that the passenger flow in the Mid-Autumn Festival will not surge. However, it is free for seven days after the National Day, which is likely to show a trend of substantial increase in traffic. According to the free passage law of the same period in the past, the peak hours of traffic flow are mainly concentrated in the starting and ending nodes of the National Day holiday, in which the peak hours of travel may appear from the afternoon of September 30th to 65438+1 October1,and the peak hours of return trip are 65438+1October 6-7.

In order to ensure the smooth and orderly traffic of the expressway network in our province, according to the past traffic characteristics, the Provincial Road Police Joint Command Center sorted out the blocked sections, main crossings, scenic toll stations and construction sections of expressways in the province in advance, and planned relevant bypass schemes for important blocked points and popular scenic spots in the province (see annex for details). Provincial Road Police Joint Command Center reminds drivers and passengers to pay attention to the following matters:

1. There may be two-way traffic peaks in many high-speed corridors such as Wuxuanhang, Jiuhuashan Huangshan, Hefei Nanjing and Shanghai, among which Longxi Interchange to Nanjing, Wuhu, Hefei West Interchange to Lu 'an, Huainan and Maya Interchange to Huangshan, Huangshan South Gate Toll Station, Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge connecting line, Jinzhai Road and Shushan intersection are easy to cause traffic congestion. Tourists are advised to travel at the wrong time or peak.

2. Some service areas such as Xinqiao, Daxi River and Hsinchu on the expressway will also become areas where traffic and people are concentrated. It is recommended to check the condition of the car before going out, fill up the car with oil, bring necessary food and first aid medicine, and avoid waiting in line;

3. If there is an accident ahead, vehicles should not occupy the emergency lane to facilitate timely rescue and disposal;

4. This holiday lasts for 7 days, and the free time is based on the time when you leave the expressway exit. Please don't wait or speed up the passage, so as not to cause unnecessary congestion or traffic accidents.

5. From 2 am to 5 am, long-distance passenger vehicles and dangerous chemicals vehicles are prohibited from entering the expressway.

According to the forecast of the meteorological department, during the Mid-Autumn Festival to the National Day, the weather in the whole province will be cloudy, with small to moderate rain in some areas, and some areas along the Huaihe River and the Yangtze River may be affected by heavy fog. Vehicles should follow the speed limit instructions or drive on roads with high visibility.
