Pingyao, a small town in Hangzhou you don't know-a beauty from the old days.
But Pingyao, as a small town in Hangzhou, has not only reeds that attract many photographers, but also old streets with colors in the 1970s and cultural sites of Liangzhu ancient country. The uniqueness here can only be known by personal experience.
Pingyao Town is located in the middle and west of Yuhang District, Hangzhou. Liangzhu Street in the north and east, Yuhang Street and Cang Qian Street in the south and Huang Hu Street in the west. It's really a small place, but small doesn't mean there are few features.
In 2007, Liangzhu cultural sites dating from 4,700 to 5,000 years ago were discovered in Fanshan, Guanhui Mountain, Jiaomoshan and Wujiabu in Pingyao Town, and a large number of relics of Liangzhu ancestors such as pottery, jade, rice and silk were unearthed.
Penggongling, ten miles west of the town, used to be the ancient anti-bow ridge, which is said to be the dike pond of the ancient anti-wind country. It can be said that 4000-5000 years ago, the ancestors of Liangzhu ancient country and Fangfeng ancient country flourished in Pingyao.
Now there are archaeological research sites near the site, and the whole area is still in the development stage. Vast plains, white sands and grasslands, with a wide field of vision, sit on the floor and feel that the whole world belongs to you.
"The bottle kiln was originally a three-piece set, with one mountain, one stream and one street."
When you come to Pingyao, the old street is also a must.
The existing Pingyao Old Street is not just a street, but a synonym for the old city.
On rainy days, the old street is slightly mysterious in the gauze of rain and fog. Paimen, supply and marketing cooperatives, cinemas and grain depots seem to have taken us through decades ago.
Walking on the road, I occasionally saw an alley turn in, looking for the mark of time. Only to find that the most dangerous houses are empty, a big fork. Probably when you come next time, these old alleys have changed their appearance.
Tiaoxi, Pingyao's mother river, can be seen from the old street, which is one of the eight major water systems in Zhejiang and an important tributary of Taihu Lake Basin. Because reeds grow all over the rivers in the basin, in autumn, reed flowers float on the water like flying snow, attracting attention. The local residents called Luhua "Tiaoxi", hence its name Tiaoxi.
In the bottle kiln, the grass swing in the North Lake is the best place to see the reed flowers. The ancients said "Autumn Ye Yiwei", and Yuhang's "One Reed" is in the grass swing of Beihu Lake.
It's late autumn, and the grass and reeds are in full bloom. Looking from the river bank, it is all white, criss-crossing, layered, and extending to the foot of Yaoshan in the distance, which is beautiful.
If you walk through the old street and see the reed flowers, you still feel something is missing. Perhaps the inheritance of craftsmanship can fill this gap.
If you remember Mr. Dai Wangshu's Rain Lane, you must also remember the oil-paper umbrella.
Open, ethereal and hazy; It was a sunny day when it was closed.
In fact, paper umbrellas have a history of more than 1000 years in Yuhang, and they are common items in the homes of ordinary people. Grandpa Liu Youquan from Xiwu Village, Pingyao Town, Yuhang District, Hangzhou is the inheritor of the local Yuhang oil-paper umbrella.
In Liu Youquan's memory, every family had an oil-paper umbrella when he was a child. People who scrimp and save can use an umbrella for many years However, since the 1960s, due to the impact of industrial umbrellas, Yuhang oil-paper umbrellas have almost disappeared, and old artists have changed careers.
Liu Youquan, 64, should have enjoyed his old age, but he couldn't let go of the paper umbrella complex. He has always adhered to the traditional practice, and it takes more than 70 processes to make a Yuhang paper umbrella by hand.
But Liu Youquan is also very lucky. His grandson Liu, born in the 1990s, is willing to pass this on.
Therefore, the third generation inheritance of Yuhang paper umbrella in Tangbu Village has also brought new vitality to this ancient craft.
Now there is their paper umbrella exhibition hall at No.55, Wu Dong, Tangbu Village, Pingyao. You might as well experience it yourself. Inheritance is not just inheritance, and old objects are not lifeless.
When we went to Pingyao, the weather was bad and construction was under way near the old street. The dusty and muddy road seems unpleasant at first glance. As soon as I approached her and touched the old house of the last century, I felt a heavy sense of history.
Then I went to the ruins, went to Beihu Caodang, tasted the charm of the historical accumulation of bottle kiln, and when I left, I shouted to come again next time. I think this is the charm of bottle kiln.
While the old street has not been demolished, while there is not much noise outside to disturb her, it is not bad to meet this beautiful woman from the old days and occasionally indulge in beauty.
