Cycling from Hangzhou to Huangshan, asking fellow travelers to provide relatively safe routes

Route: Huangshan --- Yansi --- She County --- North Bank --- Xiakeng --- Sanyang --- Yuling Pass (the junction of Anhui and Zhejiang) --- Qingliang Peak---Longgang---Changhua---Yu Qian---Lin'an---Hangzhou

Situation:

This was a long-planned plan, and it was finally realized Come true, get your wish. The route is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and rivers, with winding and rugged mountain roads and breathtaking high speeds. Let’s go through them one by one:

The luckiest departure: check the map, weather, make a plan, and when you decide to set off, n518 does not have a sleeper ticket, oh my, if there is no sleeper, you can’t sleep. Bringing a car became a huge problem. Not giving up, I went to the Zhaojiabang Road ticket office at 3:30 pm on Thursday, and actually got 2 refunds, so so so lucky, at 10:02 pm, I put my mood and set off.

The most charming scenery: N518 arrived at Huangshan City on time at 8:50 on July 1, found a hotel, put the car away, and arrived at the back mountain of Huangshan Mountain at 12:00. Due to strong winds, the cableway was closed. We had to climb the mountain from Qianshan. The scenery of Huangshan Mountain and my writing skills are beyond my ability. Although I came here 16 years ago, I am still excited as I am 16 years older. Return to hotel at 21:00 and sleep.

The easiest ride: Get up at 4:30 in the morning, pack your equipment, and set off on time at 5:00. Perhaps due to the excitement, physical strength and temperature were in the best condition, Huangshan-Sanyang was completed easily.

The longest uphill climb: Sanyang-Yulingguan (the junction of Anhui and Zhejiang). After eating watermelon worth 4 cents per catty in Sanyang, we started the 10km climb. On this section of the road, I could only ride at a speed of 10km/h. I finally realized the meaning of "mountains upon mountains", that is, after climbing one mountain, there is still another mountain. Before arriving at Yuling Pass, we met two cyclists from Hangzhou who were walking towards each other. They told us that after arriving at Yuling Pass, it was all downhill. All the efforts before Yuling Pass were worth it. Haha, it boosts morale.

The most enjoyable downhill: After a short rest and replenishment at Yuling Pass, we started going downhill, from Yuling Pass to Shunxi, 4km. One word, cool, two words super cool, no need to step on it, top 52km/h. Make up for all the climbing speed.

The most pleasant road section: Longgang-Changhua. The Zhejiang government has money and builds provincial roads like highways. Watching the broadcast, the roads in the Tour de France are just like this. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, it immerses the heart and nourishes the lungs. There is no such path around Shanghai.

The fastest route: Arrive at Changhua at 12:00, have a meal and rest, contact irhorange going to Huangshan, there is still 6km to go to Changhua, we decided to have dinner together. 13:00 After saying goodbye to irhorange, we went to our destinations. Changhua-Lin'an is an expressway under construction. Since it has not been officially opened to traffic, some sections of the road are closed and there are no motor vehicles. Irhorange informed that bicycles can be ridden door-to-door without any supervision. After leaving Changhua, it was indeed like this. Haha, it was the first time in my life to ride a bicycle on a highway, and there were no motor vehicles. It was more comfortable than a police car clearing the way. With a tailwind, maintain 40km/h. The driver in the opposite lane must be saying, how can these two lunatics get on the highway? In fact, this section of the road was not very comfortable psychologically. It was too hot. At noon, the sun was scorching and the heat was unbearable. My mouth became dry every 10 minutes. Later, the highway manager said that the temperature on the highway was close to 50 degrees. Damn, no wonder I drank 1 liter of drink every 10 kilometers.

The most boring section: Lin'an-Hangzhou East Railway Station (50km). Like the national highways around Shanghai, there are many people on the road, so I did a vacuum cleaner again.
