The wall of the master bedroom loves peeling in winter. Why?

This is probably caused by wet walls in winter. In winter, because the outside temperature is relatively low, and we often burn the house very warm to keep warm, in this case, the wall will be wet due to cold and hot convection. Once the wall is wet, the paint on it will separate from the wall itself, so it will fall off bit by bit. But many times when we build a house, we will do some moisture-proof treatment on the wall. In other words, if this happens, it can only show that our house has lost its function of moisture-proof treatment and needs to be remedied accordingly. If this happens, we can deal with it from the following points:

1, the first moistureproof treatment.

Since the wall is already wet, it should be moistureproof in step 1 first. I suggest that you start moistureproof from the outside, for example, buy some moistureproof materials in the market and carry out construction on the outer wall. Of course, this situation is not good in winter, because our materials can't be completely attached to the wall because of the weather. Generally, you have to wait until this season is over, or you can choose to do it in summer directly.

2. Grind off the wall skin indoors

After the moistureproof treatment, next we need to polish the place where the indoor wall skin falls off, that is, use sandpaper to grind off those places that have fallen off or are about to fall off. This work is relatively easy, and it can be done by itself without professionals, but the disadvantage is that the dust will be heavier when polishing, so you must lift the furniture at home before processing, or spread a layer of plastic cloth on it to block the dust falling down when polishing.

3. Supplementary materials

Finally, what we have to do is to supplement the materials for the walls. If our wall is an ordinary white wall, just use a scraper and white slurry. Because not all walls should be blown white, we can do the same for some small places. However, if the walls are decorated with some special materials, then some professionals may be needed to complete the work. We can communicate with the construction team at that time and ask questions. It is estimated that if it is only a remedy, it will be completed at little cost and the materials will not cost too much.
