What's with the marshmallow cloud

The marshmallow cloud is actually a mammatus cloud, which is a very special cloud in the atmosphere. When this kind of cloud appears, the cloud under the rain cloud hangs at the bottom of the sky like a bag.

In many cases, the appearance of breast-like clouds is related to the meeting of cold and warm air. Therefore, when such clouds appear, it often means that fierce weather is coming. Many times, the appearance of mammatus cloud often indicates that there may be other extreme weather in the future, so when it appears, you should immediately be vigilant and take shelter in a safe place.

Cloud formation:

Clouds are formed by evaporation and condensation of water vapor, and water in rivers, lakes and seas is heated by sunlight and evaporated into water vapor. You can also boil your own water and let it evaporate-you can watch the water evaporate and dissipate.

Water vapor is imperceptible, and naturally rises from the surface to the atmosphere as warm bubbles, just like the bubbles rising in the lava lamp you see. The water vapor bubble is getting higher and higher, and the temperature is getting lower and lower until it finally condenses back to the liquid state.

Clouds are made up of millions of tiny water droplets. Water droplets scatter sunlight evenly, so clouds look white. Although it looks like a tenacious umbrella mushroom, in fact, a cloud cannot bear any weight except its own weight, including the weight of people.
