There will be a big wave of 3 to 5 meters in the Taiwan Province Strait to the huge wave area, and a big wave of 4 to 6 meters in the northern part of the South China Sea to the wild wave area. The warning level of waves in the offshore waters is yellow;

There will be huge waves of 2.5 to 4 meters in the coastal waters of Guangdong, and the warning level of waves in the coastal waters is yellow;

There will be 1.5 to 2.5 meters of medium waves to large waves in the eastern and southern coastal waters of Hainan, and the wave warning level in the coastal waters is blue.

The National Ocean Forecasting Station reminds ships operating in the above-mentioned sea areas to pay attention to safety, and relevant coastal units take measures to prevent and avoid waves in advance. It is expected that the wave height will gradually decrease after the typhoon lands tomorrow, and the wave warning will be lifted as appropriate.

Storm surge blue warning

It is estimated that from the afternoon of June 2 to the morning of1October 3, there will be a storm surge of 30-80 cm along the coast of Guangdong, and a storm surge of 20-50 cm along the northern and eastern coasts of Hainan Island. The warning level of storm surge in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province and Haikou City, Hainan Province is blue.
