Guangzhou Shamian used to be a concession between Britain and France, so there are many century-old European buildings on the island. This small island with an area of only 0.3 square kilometers is listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit with 54 buildings. Many of them have become new literary landmarks after activation, which makes people fully feel the multicultural integration of Guangzhou.

The island is lush with trees, so walking in summer won't get too much sun. Walking on the beach in the sun in the afternoon is like being in a romantic French movie. I think this is the best place for walking in Guangzhou! The following is my carefully arranged tour route. Please visit in order:

2. Shamian Hall:

This is a small and quaint church, where you can not only feel the quiet atmosphere, but also have the opportunity to become the protagonist of wedding photos. Many newcomers choose to take wedding photos here because the history and romance of this church complement each other.

Speaking of churches, the most impressive thing is the gorgeous glass windows. I like walking here at night. The sun shines obliquely on the window, as if with a beautiful filter. 3. Former site of the official residence of the Deputy Auditor-General of China Salt Affairs:

The building built in 19 12 has now been transformed into a tea museum. The well-preserved arc escalator of the Republic of China on the first floor is amazing. Walking on it seems to have crossed the elegance of the Republic of China. In this tea museum with strong cultural atmosphere, you can understand the essence of tea culture and feel the collision between tradition and modernity.

This staircase is a beautiful photo spot, especially suitable for lo skirts or retro dresses, and it is super for making movies. The texture of old buildings can't be imitated by modern antique buildings anyway! And as a museum, the exhibits are also very rich. Few people in China don't like tea, but only by knowing more about tea culture can we really understand tea.

4. White Swan Hotel:

The unique design of this hotel will surprise you. You can enter for free, and you can take photos with the indoor waterfall, which makes people feel like they are in a fairyland. In addition, the small museum on the second floor is also worth a visit, which displays some precious historical relics.

White Swan Hotel is the first five-star hotel opened to the outside world after the reform and opening up, so it has been particularly open. Taking pictures here is like entering a tropical rain forest. You can take the first place when taking pictures, and try to fill the whole composition with the scenery. Buildings of this color are really rare. Tiffany Green perfectly combines the tough Starbucks logo with the gorgeous Baroque architecture. 8. Shamian West Bridge: This elegant double arch bridge complements the surrounding scenery. Local residents often fish by the bridge. You can appreciate their skillful fishing skills and feel the quiet and leisurely atmosphere.

9. Victory Hotel:

As the first hotel in Guangzhou, this hotel built in 1888 reveals a strong historical atmosphere. What is particularly unforgettable is the retro elevator inside, which takes you through time and space and feels the luxury and customs of the old days.

10. former site of sassoon foreign firm:

This bright yellow building has now been transformed into an art complex called "LIGHT HOUSE Lighthouse Space". It often holds various art exhibitions to make you feel the charm and creativity of art.

You need to make an appointment in advance to visit, but its uniqueness is definitely worth seeing. 12 Shamian Park:

This park is not only a quiet and relaxing place, but also a cultural intersection of Shamian. Here, you can attend various concerts and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Pearl River.
