How does the typhoon cause the weather to rain? Is it water brought by the typhoon?

Generally, typhoons are accompanied by heavy rainfall, some of which are formed by water vapor brought by typhoons from the ocean, and some of which are a lot of water contained in clouds in the high air. However, steam alone is not enough to form typhoon rain, and it is also affected by the strong upward movement of airflow and terrain. The rainfall intensity and duration associated with typhoons are different, but the principle of their formation is basically the same.

Typhoon rainstorm is a precipitation phenomenon caused by typhoon activity. There is precipitation in the whole vortex area with updraft in the wind, but the precipitation in the cloud wall area with the strongest updraft is the largest, and the precipitation in the spiral cloud belt is reduced, sometimes forming heavy rain. We can compare the principle of typhoon making rain to a huge heat engine at work. The object of treatment is water, including water vapor, raindrops, ice particles, supercooled water droplets and so on.

In a typhoon, the upper part of the air column is about 12 km from the ground, and the air flows out to the ground, while the lower air flows in. In the vertical direction, the air in this column rises strongly. In the process of rising, a large amount of air rises rapidly from the low altitude with high air pressure to the high altitude with low air pressure, which makes the air expand and cool, and the water vapor in the air condenses into small water droplets. When the quality of water drops reaches a certain level, they can't float in the sky, but fall from the sky to form rainfall.

Although the rainfall caused by typhoon is influenced by many factors and varies from region to region, it has the following general characteristics. The typhoon area is full of water vapor, with strong upward movement and often heavy precipitation. When the typhoon comes, the average daily precipitation is above 800 mm, which is very strong and mostly paroxysmal. Typhoon landing often produces heavy rain, 200 ~ 300mm to 1000 or more. Although the rainy weather caused by typhoon often brings floods, it does provide a lot of fresh water for the land.
