First impression of London

20 18 at the beginning of March, in order to attend the exhibition in Birmingham, we visited our customers in Britain for the first time. As soon as we got out of the airport, we were greeted by a cold and snowy day.

Samuel johnson famously said, "If you are tired of London, you are tired of life. Because everything life can give you, London has it. " After staying in the hotel, I am looking forward to tomorrow's trip-a different London.

The weather clears up in the morning, the streets are full of people running, and ancient buildings can be seen everywhere. Speaking of London, one of the most famous landmarks is Tower Bridge. Although the tower bridge is not open, it is still spectacular. Against the background of the blue river of Thames, it is magnificent.

Another symbol of London, Big Ben, is surrounded by scaffolding. It is said that it will take four years! A friend in the same trade said it would take four years, which is very English [cute]

Gothic architecture is still very distinctive. After years of erosion, although it has been mottled, it still retains exquisiteness, dignity and elegance.

Buckingham Palace is the only place she must pass during her first visit to London. It is the place where the Queen of England works and lives in London, and it is also the palace that is still in use today. Waiting to see the ancient and ceremonial handover of the royal army, the soldiers are very solemn, but I still feel that the ceremonial soldiers in Tiananmen Square are more neat and tidy.

There is a monument to Queen Victoria in front of Buckingham Palace, with the golden goddess of victory at the top, which is exquisite. There is also a circle of statues around (the statue that the British colonial forces paid tribute to the Queen), and the fountain in the middle should be the spread of Roman culture. The glory of the "empire that never sets" is revealed in the light and darkness.

There is Hyde Park, the largest royal park in Britain, near Buckingham Palace. Due to the coming time and weather, the trees in Hyde Park are bare and the ground is sticky with black lines. I look forward to coming to Hyde Park again in other seasons.

There are always many surprises along the Thames. Uncle Scotland, dressed in a classic dress (English plaid skirt, but men wear kilts, not skirts), bulging his cheeks and playing bagpipes with Scottish characteristics. The flute is melodious and beautiful! I didn't go to Scotland, but I also deeply felt a Scottish style.

The Ferris wheel in the background of Uncle Scotland is the "London Eye", which was built in 2000 to celebrate the Millennium. Like a big toy, it looks unremarkable during the day, and it is dreamy to turn on the lights at night. Specially in the evening, we took a taxi with taxi software, came to the Thames and watched the London Eye again.

As a world metropolis, London has complete supporting facilities and numerous museums, which are open to all citizens free of charge. We went to the famous British Museum, which is the longest and largest museum and one of the four famous museums in the world. The tour guide specially introduced us to a row of statues above the main entrance of the British Museum, describing the development process of human beings from ignorance to civilization. We were really shocked after browsing the collection displayed in it. They really concentrated the collection of human civilization, especially the cultural relics looted from China in the Oriental Museum, which made us a little nervous. Such a beautiful national treasure has been exiled abroad [tears]. The British Museum is a world history book!

Every foreign metropolis has China people, and London also has a bustling Chinatown, where you can eat quite authentic Chinese food.

I came across a big m & amp; M's shop, several floors are filled with colorful chocolate beans.

In the cold streets of London, all kinds of bars are still very lively. English people should be the most fond of drinking in the world. The bar on Friday night was full of people and could not be squeezed in. What doesn't match the prosperity is also many drunken vagrants and refugees in the streets. No matter where, the rich are rich to varying degrees, and the poor are equally poor.

My first impression of London is that it has profound historical background, simple fashion and ancient civilization, like the vitality of runners everywhere. I hope the epidemic will pass as soon as possible, and I will come to London again and sit down and savor it …
