What does it mean when a double rainbow appears in the sky?

The appearance of double rainbows in the sky is a natural phenomenon and has no warning.

The more obvious rainbow is called a rainbow, and the darker one outside is called a neon. The two rainbows are collectively called neon. The order of colors in the inner and outer circles of neon and rainbow is exactly right. It's the opposite.

The rainbow is formed when the sun shines on the lower part of the small water droplets, and the rainbow is formed when the sun shines on the upper part of the small water droplets). The rainbow phenomenon seen when spraying water should be thought of as appearing in the sky. There are several conditions that a rainbow should meet:

1. There must be small water droplets in the sky.

2. Sunlight must shine on these small water droplets.

3. The observer must face away from the sun to see it.

Special Rainbow

Moonbow

Moonbow, also known as night rainbow, is a very rare phenomenon that may appear at night when the moonlight is strong. Human vision has difficulty distinguishing colors in low light conditions at night, so the evening rainbow appears to be completely white.

Reflected rainbow and reflected rainbow

When a rainbow appears on an object on the water surface, two complementary mirror arcs from different light paths may appear on the water surface and below the water surface respectively. Their name is slightly different. If the water is calm, a reflected rainbow will appear as a mirror image below the horizon of the water. Sunlight is first deflected by raindrops before reaching the observer, and then reflected by water. Reflected rainbows, at least in part, are often visible, even in small puddles.

When sunlight is reflected by the water before reaching the raindrops, it may produce a reflection rainbow. If the water surface is large enough, the entire surface is calm, and it is close to the rain curtain, the reflection rainbow may appear above the horizon. It intersects with a normal rainbow at the horizon, and its arc will be higher in the sky because its center is above the horizon, whereas a normal rainbow's center is below the horizon. Reflection rainbows are very rare due to the combination of the above conditions.

If the reflected arc is reflected again, and the neon reflection arc and its reflection arc appear at the same time, it is possible for 6 (or 8) ribbons to appear at the same time.
