Dongyue Temple is known as "Beijing Small Forest of Steles", which is well-deserved. There are 140 stone tablets in the temple. After several wars, there are only twenty or thirty stone tablets left. "Dai Zong Bao Dian" is the main building of Dongyue Temple, with bamboo and blue tile walls and magnificent momentum. The main hall is dedicated to the Emperor and Empress of Dongyue. There are more than 3,000 statues in the whole temple, and their figures are varied and lifelike, so it is said that the statue of Dongyue Temple is the best in the world. In addition, Dongyue Temple has many unique buildings, such as Yude Hall, Huangyu Hall, Zhenwu Hall, Doum Hall and Wenchang Dijun Hall, and there is also a big garden full of flowers. Dongyue Temple is not only a prominent Taoist temple, but also ranks first among China temples in architectural art and scale.
