Guide for Winter Maintenance of Concrete Pavement

In winter, the maintenance of concrete pavement is very important. This paper will introduce the methods and precautions of concrete pavement maintenance in winter to help you better protect the pavement and improve the construction quality.

Temperature control

After the concrete pavement is poured, we suggest covering it with straw curtain and plastic film to ensure that the temperature is kept above 5 degrees Celsius during maintenance. Avoid using sprinklers for maintenance, so as not to cause unnecessary trouble.

Curing agent spraying

For cement pavement with high requirements, we suggest that you spray curing agent immediately after concrete pouring to keep the surface moist and enhance the strength of concrete.

Moving canopy

If you need to further improve the maintenance effect, you can consider building a mobile shed or a stove to raise the temperature, but please note that these measures may increase the cost.

Sprinkler curing

When choosing the maintenance method, please ensure that the concrete surface is not damaged, and after the initial setting of the pavement, sprinkle water for maintenance according to the weather conditions.
