Why does it thunder on rainy days?

Thunder is a natural phenomenon. When it rains, there are positive clouds and dark clouds in the sky. When two kinds of clouds collide, they will emit lightning, and at the same time, they will release more heat, which will make the surrounding air expand. The air is instantly heated and expanded, thus pushing the surrounding air, and then causing strong explosion vibration, which is thunder.

Why does it thunder on rainy days?

Lightning is actually a discharge phenomenon in thunderstorm clouds. Generally, the formation of thunderstorm clouds requires two conditions, namely, sufficient water vapor and strong convection.

In winter, the air is cold and dry, the solar radiation is weak, and it is difficult to form convection in the air, so there is little lightning. But if the temperature is high in winter, it will form thunderstorm clouds, producing lightning and rain and snow.
