This road condition lasted for 24 kilometers to Xiaqi, and then the slope of the gas suddenly became larger, but it was a little slower than the road in Erlang Mountain. In this way, the slope increased again until about 35KM, and the slope before entering Kangding city was more than 2 km long and steep, so the car could only climb slowly at a speed of 5-6 km/h until Kangding.
Traveler's tip: There is no place to eat between Xiajiasi and Kangding, but there is a tributary of Dadu River along the way, and the scenery is spectacular, so you can feast your eyes. This is already a Tibetan area. While being careful not to catch a cold, do a good job of sun protection.
Kangding → Zheduo Pass (elevation 4298) → xinduqiao (elevation 3630).

After 40km, the downhill scenery is beautiful (because of road construction, the road conditions are very poor). 33km from Kangding to Zheduo Mountain Pass, turning the mountain pass, a gravel road appears not far below the mountain, with poor road conditions, and the gravel road will extend all the way to xinduqiao. There is a train from the pass 10km, so you can have a rest.
Travel tip: The road conditions on the downhill section are poor, so be careful not to turn too fast to prevent the brakes from locking. At the same time, as there is no restaurant to solve lunch on the way, please prepare dry food in advance.
Xinduqiao → Gaoersiguan (elevation 4270) → Yajiang (elevation 2530).

Brief introduction of road conditions: Climb about 800 meters above sea level, climb over Gorchs Mountain at an altitude of 44 12 meters, and then descend to Yajiang County on the Yalong River at an altitude of 2600 meters. From Yamaguchi to Yajiang, it starts with a steep slope of 25KM and then a gentle slope of 25KM. The first 27 kilometers turned into the second mountain in Tibet-Gaoersi Mountain (4270 meters above sea level), and the road conditions were very poor. After 44km, the altitude drops 1700m, and the downhill slope is steep. Please check the brakes in advance. The overall road conditions are better than Kangding to xinduqiao. Basically, there is a small section of gravel road every other section on the asphalt pavement, and the difficulty of going down the mountain is much smaller than yesterday.
Traveler's tip: The uphill road is not too steep, because xinduqiao itself has a high altitude and soon entered the alpine meadow area. Gaoersi mountain pass is 4270M m above sea level, and it will climb 50 meters after crossing the mountain pass, which is a long downhill slope of 55KM. The slope of the first 20km is very steep, until it reaches the cliff, so special attention should be paid to safety. After going down the mountain to the finish line, arrive at Hekou Town, Yajiang County.
Yajiang → Jianziwan Pass (elevation 4450) → 1 19 Road Grade (elevation 4260)
Leg mileage: 52 kilometers
Road profile: It is difficult to climb about 2000 meters above sea level from Yalong River Canyon to Jianziwan Pass. 50km from Yajiang to 1 19, asphalt road, and the first 35km over the top of the mountain. If we start at 7: 00 am, we expect to reach the top of Jianziwan at around 14: 00. It is an undulating mountain road near 15KM from the top to 1 19.
Traveler's tip: When you leave Yajiang, you will start to climb uphill. The safety is Panshan Highway, so you should be mentally prepared. The road surface in this section is good, but be careful not to try to take shortcuts, and be sure to take the main road. Go uphill ***35km to Jianziwan Pass, and then slow down to 1 19.
