Senior one looks at the picture and speaks. Go to the zoo in summer.

The weather is hot these days, and there are waves of hot air on the ground. Children hide in air-conditioned rooms, eat popsicles, watch TV, play computer and so on. But my mother took me to see the zoo in summer.

When we arrived at the zoo, my mother and I went straight to the swimming pool. Looking around, on the mirror-like lake, you can see the black swan looking in the mirror. Mandarin ducks are swimming in groups in the middle of the school. There are many cranes beside the pool. The cranes protected at the national level are: white crane, red-crowned crane, Hei He, white-headed crane and flamingo. The cranes under national second-class protection are: Dune Crane, White Pillow Crane, Exhausted Crane and Gray Crane. Among them, my favorite is the red-crowned crane. Red-crowned cranes inhabit swamps and beaches near water. During the winter, they form dozens to hundreds of groups, breed in pairs, feed on small animals such as seeds, buds, roots, insects and fish, and build nests on the ground. Two eggs are laid in each nest, and the incubation period is 32 days. Both males and females breed in large numbers, and the life span is 50-60 years. Next to the red-crowned crane is a flamingo. Flamingos inhabit salt lakes and swamps. Flamingos move in large groups. They are lazy and gentle, timid and become policemen. They can swim and fly. They feed on aquatic algae, small worms and protozoan larvae, as well as small mollusks and crustaceans. It enters the breeding period from April to July, and each nest produces 1-2 eggs, and the incubation period is 30 days. My mother and I went to look for the tiger again. The tiger walked around in the hole, fidgeting. The dog was lying on the ground sticking out its tongue, and the elephant was too hot to hide in the house.

The sun is still scorching the earth, but the animals live happily in their paradise-Hangzhou Zoo.
