What is the experience of being caught in a rainstorm?

I am very trustworthy. When I was a sophomore, a classmate dropped by with me and asked me to take her back by bike every day. One day, there was a rainstorm. Although it is summer, our agreement is to wait until the school is empty. I didn't go home until it was cold. The next day, I caught a cold and asked her what was wrong. She said it was raining hard and she took a taxi home by herself. Never again. I have never been caught in the rain in these decades, and I won't let myself get caught in the rain again. If you don't love yourself, who will?
