~~My 6th day in Indonesia~~
Hotel hidden in the dense forest | Villa Borobudur
The car passed through a rice terrace and tobacco farmland and Yuanpu Village, then drove up several hillsides with nearly 60 degrees, and finally stopped halfway up the mountain. This is the hotel where Xiaotian is staying today.
The entire building is designed with rich colors and elements of Javanese culture, permeating every plant, tree, beam and column. I feel it is more like a luxurious Homestay, with a quiet clubhouse that can see Borobudur halfway up the mountain.
My room!
The first time I slept in a hotel room with a Buddha statue in front of my bed! Thinking about it, I'm still a little excited. I hope Buddha will bless me to sleep as I wish tonight.
Xiao Tianhui really likes the hotel’s swimming pool!
Indonesian catering pays attention to the combination of various ingredients, and the taste is sweet, including satay, broth, vegetables and rice noodles.
The legendary Indonesian fried rice is countless times more delicious than domestic pandan!
Indonesia’s world-famous Batik
Java’s Batik is world-famous, and the best place to do Batik is Yogyakarta.
They first drew the pattern on the cloth.
Then dye.
They are usually flowers, birds, insects, fish, but also people.
Bromo active volcano, here I come!
I am carrying a huge sum of 5 million and rushing to Probolinggo, a small town in East Java, Indonesia. There is a UnionPay ATM in such a small place. The motherland is so powerful! !
The active volcano Bromo, which erupted only once in 2011, looks both ethereal and magnificent from a distance.
We can also ride on horses and cross a sea of ??sand with flying volcanic ash.
Climbing from its backbone to the top, from a distance of 100 meters, watching the 700-degree high temperature crater puffing out clouds of mist, I felt like I was possessed by an evil spirit, and I was so happy.
~~My 7th day in Indonesia~~
At sunrise, the colors of Bromo are the most touching.
The weather is great! Standing at Penanjakan at an altitude of 2,770 meters, you can watch the egg yolk slowly rising from the volcanic sand sea with towering cones in the distance.
Even if three active volcanoes erupted at this time, the light that stopped at 5:43 was enough to make me unforgettable for the rest of my life.
Ijen Crater Lake, 2148 meters above sea level, the turquoise sulfurous lake is surrounded by steaming volcanic rock walls.
Violent thick smoke continues to pour out from the surrounding craters.
In order to see the true face of Crater Lake Lushan, Xiaotian wore a protective mask and climbed down from the top of Ijen volcano along a very rugged stone road until close contact.
The Ijen Plateau is really fun. In addition to the spectacular active volcano that destroys all five senses, the locals also took me to an unknown waterfall.
Next to it is the natural hot spring that gushes out of the mountain. It is extremely hot, and the waterfall spurts out cool water that is so refreshing! It's so cool hahaha
In an almost remote place, the hot spring at the foot of the Ijen active volcano has no foreign tourists, no signboards, and no decent road, but it is a real sulfur hot spring.
The villagers are all in their own neighborhood, and the three of us were charged a symbolic "ticket" of 20,000 dong, which is about 10 yuan. This is the type of travel I’ve been looking for!
When I was at Mount Bromo, I met such a group of people.
They get up at 2 a.m. every day and climb to the Ijen crater to collect sulfur by hand.
Only a handful of them wore gas masks, and only tied cotton scarves around their mouths and noses. This was their only protective measure.
Subsequently, these workers who worked with bare hands had to carry 80 kilograms of sulfur up the volcano, which took 6 hours.
Xiaotian also tried it, this is really no joke! ! !
The remuneration for this extremely hard work is extremely meager, only 40 RMB per day. They wear crotchless pants and socks patched everywhere. In order to sell sulfur, their lives are so small.
Traveling makes me experience the world!
