One of the most famous is the rock painting of Helan Mountain, which was born 10,000 years ago. Mainly distributed in the north-central part of Helan Mountain, most of them are carved on the cliffs in the hinterland of the mountains. The content is the figures carved on rocks by ancient humans.

There are life scenes such as grazing, hunting, sacrifice, fighting, entertainment and dancing, sexual intercourse, as well as animals such as sheep, cattle, horses, camels, tigers and leopards. Some of them are realistic and some are abstract totem symbols, which have both historical and artistic value.
