Introduction to Rain

The protagonist Ren (レイン), who is a civilian, was promoted to the general of the Sankuvaru Kingdom because of his extraordinary swordsmanship and magic. At this moment, the Sankuvaru Kingdom is facing the invasion of the powerful empire Zamaying. After Renn repeatedly failed to give advice, he was ordered to return to his own city for confinement, and the king led the country's troops to make a desperate move. There was a high-ranking traitor in the army who colluded with Zamaying and betrayed the country. On the eve of the war, he killed King Dagulas (ダグラス) of the Sankuvaru Kingdom. The war took a turn for the worse, and the remaining Sankuvaru troops faced the whole army. Overturned. Renn ordered his men to secretly use weather magic to rescue the remaining Sankuvaru army.

Another main line is the emotional line between Ren and Princess Xie Lufa of Sankuvaru Kingdom (シェルファ). Three years ago, Xie Lufa and Ren En met unexpectedly in the courtyard outside the palace dance, and developed a liking for him, an approachable person. They agreed that Ren En would take her out of the palace to see the outside world three years later. When the Sankuvaru Kingdom fell and the war was about to collapse, Xie Lufa still missed Ren in her heart, broke through the traitors' pursuit and interception, and fled to Ren.
