The content, current gap and problems of farmers' new life. (On the New Life of Farmers)
Over the past 20 years of reform and opening up, Shangrao's economic construction has made remarkable achievements. Compared with the past, the city has taken on a new look, and the living standards and quality of life of urban residents have improved year by year. At the same time, the reporter personally experienced the new changes in Shangrao rural areas from some towns and villages he visited. During the interview, reporters and farmers began to talk about the harvest, experience the new life in the countryside, and experience the new ideas and changes of the new century, new countryside and new farmers. ...
Eat less and eat more.
In midsummer, fresh vegetables are in short supply in the market. In the home of Yang Guangxing, a farmer in Zhu Min Village, Beimen Township, Xinzhou District, their vegetable baskets are also full of all kinds of green vegetables and meat. Because of Master Yang's hospitality, the reporter was lucky enough to have lunch with Master Yang's family. At the dinner table, the reporter saw: braised carp, fried celery, eggplant, Chinese cabbage, shredded cucumber ... all over the table. During the dinner, Yang Laobo talked about the changes in living conditions before and after the reform and opening up. Master Yang told reporters that before the reform and opening up, it would be good to have enough to eat. Now people are getting more and more expensive. It's good to have a bowl of rice without a good meal, and my grandson is even luckier! Every morning, I must drink a glass of milk and eat an egg. If there is no meat for any meal, I say there is no food. Now, life is "beautiful" ...
It is understood that in recent years, farmers in our city have eaten well on the basis of satiety, which shows that the share of non-staple food has increased, the consumption proportion of flour and rice has increased, and nutritious food has doubled. The reporter learned in an interview with Dingzhou Village in Xinzhou District that the village consumes nearly 60 bottles of fresh milk every day, and a good life has changed the diet structure of farmers.
Walk less and ride more.
At the entrance of National Highway 320 in Shangrao County, the reporter saw this situation: dozens of motorcycles were waiting to pick up passengers, and there was a bus bound for the countryside in ten minutes. The reporter set foot on the bus to Hucun Township. A farmer passenger surnamed Zhao told reporters that it was not easy to go to the county a few years ago. This road is a narrow path, not to mention driving. It is difficult for people to walk when it rains. It usually takes half a day to go to the county seat, or by bike. In recent years, the country has increased rural infrastructure construction, built roads and bridges, and roads connect every village. When the road is good, there will naturally be more cars. With 5 yuan, farmers can enter the city, it is convenient to run enterprises to buy things, and the rural economy has also developed. People who go to the city to play and buy goods are full and convenient all day.
The reporter learned in Bixia Village, Hucun Township that there are 6 motorcycle shops in the village, and farmers in the village buy no less than 400 motorcycles or other motor vehicles. Farmers also learn from city people to drive to the vegetable market to buy food. Now the era of walking alone in the countryside is gone forever.
Go out less and watch more.
The reporter saw in Hufang Town, Qianshan Township that most farmers have now built a small foreign building with a single house, and modern electrical stores can be seen everywhere. Various color TVs, DVD home theaters, refrigerators and washing machines occupy a prominent position. Knock on any house, and its interior decoration and configuration are basically the same as those in the city.
In the home of a farmer surnamed Zheng, he told reporters that it is so hot, what should I do when I go out? I will know if there is anything by calling. It's not as congested as before. Then, he took out a Nokia mobile phone and handed it to the reporter and said, Look, our village can receive signals now. When chatting with local villagers, Liu Xiaohuo's mobile phone rings for a while, and Uncle Li's mobile phone rings for a while, which is a ringtone. And a few years ago, for farmers, making phone calls was a very extravagant thing.
Nowadays, not only telephones have settled in every household, but also mobile phones can be seen everywhere. Many farmers also subscribe to newspapers and magazines, satellite TV is installed on TV, and some even use computers to know what's going on in the world without going out. There are more and more rural talents. Information, sales and weather really need to be understood through the media. Because farmers read newspapers and news for a long time, they have a wider range of knowledge, go out less but have more knowledge, and their lives are getting more and more prosperous.
Do less farm work and do more business.
In recent years, with the improvement of agricultural production technology in Shangrao, the rural economic structure has undergone major changes, and the labor force required for agricultural production is less, and a large number of surplus labor forces have emerged. On the other hand, in recent years, the township enterprises in our city have developed rapidly, the demand for labor in coastal areas and cities in this region has increased, and the number of farmers working in cities, going out to work and doing business in our city has been increasing.
When the reporter interviewed in Huanggu Town, Shangrao County, a farmer surnamed Xu told the reporter that now that the policy has been liberalized, the government encourages farmers to go out to work, and it is easier to do business than before. That's good. On the one hand, doing farm work is far from going out to work to make money, on the other hand, it is more beneficial for a few people to contract rural land. Doing business is ok, but it's better than tying yourself to those few acres of thin land.
It is understood that in recent years, after Shangrao increased its efforts to attract investment, many foreign enterprises settled in Shangrao, which not only brought great impetus to Shangrao's economic construction, but also transferred a large number of rural surplus labor in our city. Nowadays farmers really do less farm work and do more business!
Children have less knowledge and more knowledge.
With the extensive publicity and vigorous development of family planning work in our city, family planning has become the conscious action of farmers in Shangrao. The phenomenon that a couple has three children has disappeared in the countryside. Basically, a couple has only one child. At the same time, villagers pay more and more attention to children's education.
We learned from an interview in the countryside of Yushan County that in the past, some farmers in the countryside gave birth to many children because of the idea of carrying on the family line, but none of them went to high school, especially girls who could finish junior high school. Now the villagers have fewer children, but they attach importance to their education. Parents spend a lot of money on their children's education. After the college entrance examination this year, many rural students who have been admitted to junior college are more willing to stay and study "Senior Four", and plan to strive for undergraduate studies next year. According to statistics, it is not unusual for a village to have more than 10 college students. The obvious improvement of rural children's knowledge level has also promoted the improvement of farmers' cultural quality.
These five little farmers in Shangrao, like a mirror, reflect the quality of life of farmers and the hope of the future in Shangrao countryside.
Compared with cities, the gap is still very backward, and the development between rural areas is uneven.
There are many problems, such as the gap between the rich and the poor, economic backwardness, backward education and health, lack of social security, unbalanced transportation, contradiction in land acquisition, thin legal concept, preference for boys and so on.
