The geographical environment of Chaozhou
The main mountain ranges in Chaozhou include Wuyishan branch at the junction of Guangdong and Fujian and Lianhua Mountain at the junction of Chaomei and Fenghuang Mountain. Bird Rock, the main peak of Phoenix Mountain in the north, is known as the first mountain in eastern Guangdong, with an altitude of 1, 497.8 meters. It is the hometown of oolong tea in China and the birthplace of She nationality. The main rivers are Hanjiang River and Huanggang River. Hanjiang River obliquely runs through Chaozhou city from west to southeast, flows through Chaoan District, and enters the sea in Chenghai. Huanggang River flows through Raoping from north to south and enters the sea by the east wind of Huanggang Town. Fengjiang, a tributary of Rongjiang River, flows from northeast to southwest through the central and western parts of Chaoan District, passes through Yujiao Town of Jieyang via Feng Tang Town and joins Rongjiang River.
Hanjiang River is the mother river of Chaozhou City, which flows through the main urban area of Chaozhou for about 3 kilometers, with a wide northern section. Guangji Bridge (commonly known as pontoon bridge and Xiangzi bridge), one of the four ancient bridges in China, is located in the middle reaches of the Han River, connecting the traffic between the ancient city and the east coast. Since ancient times, it has been the transportation hub of Fujian and Guangdong provinces and the only place for land exchanges between the two provinces. Chaozhou has a subtropical maritime monsoon climate, and June ~ 10 is the main period affected by tropical cyclones every year, with heavy rain and heavy rain. In autumn, affected by the cold air in the north, the temperature gradually drops. At this time, the weather was fine and there was little precipitation, and Chaozhou began to enter the dry season. The northeast wind or the north wind prevails in winter, and the dry and cold air from the north has been greatly weakened after a long journey, so the winter here is warmer, and there are few cold weather below 0℃. Seasonal division of spring
(March-May) is a transitional season, and the temperature and precipitation are on the rise. It is precisely because this period of time is a season of alternating cold and warm, so it is very unstable. In some years, there will be bright spring, and in some years, there will be continuous low temperature, rainy and cold weather in spring; In some years, because the rainy season comes late, there may be persistent drought. However, judging from the perennial situation, it began to enter the rainy season in April, and various places successively entered the pre-flood season. summer
From June to August, due to the influence of ocean air mass, southerly winds generally blow, bringing abundant rain. June is the peak of rainfall in the first flood season in Guangdong, and there are many opportunities for heavy rain in various places. At the same time, June ~ 10 is the main period when tropical cyclones affect Guangdong, and more than 89% of tropical cyclones affect Guangdong during this period. The hottest month in a year is July, and the average monthly temperature in the province reaches 28 ~ 29℃. The extreme maximum temperature once reached 42℃ (1August 953 12, Shaoguan city). The extreme high temperature in Chaozhou for many years was 38.7℃, which occurred on1August, 953 12. autumn
From September to165438+1October, cold air began to affect Guangdong, and the temperature in Chaozhou gradually dropped. At this time, the weather is fine, there is little precipitation, and the dry season begins. The number of tropical cyclone activities decreased. 165438+ 10 is not the most active season for tropical cyclones, but it is still possible. winter
(12 ~ February) The northeast wind or the north wind is prevalent. After a long journey, the dry and cold air from the north becomes warm and humid, and its intensity is greatly weakened. In Guangdong, the wind speed is lower and the temperature is higher, so Chaozhou is warmer in winter. However, when the cold wave comes, frost weather will also occur in individual years. Winter is the dry season in Chaozhou, with less precipitation, sunny weather and plenty of sunshine. The month of 65438+ 10 is the most Leng Yue, the monthly average temperature is 9 ~ 16℃, and the temperature difference between north and south is above 7℃. The extreme minimum temperature has been recorded at MINUS 7.3℃, and the extreme minimum temperature in Chaozhou for many years is 0℃. In Chaozhou, although winter is influenced by the cold air in the south, due to the low latitude, the average temperature in 65438+ 10 is still 13.5℃, so there is no winter in the climate sense.
