How about Karamay, Xinjiang
The widest point of Karamay is 1 10 km, and the longest point from north to south is 240 km. Karamay has a total area of 7733 square kilometers, and the urban area is about 16 square kilometers. The altitude is between 270 and 500 meters. The urban area is 313km away from Urumqi Highway, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a flying distance of 280km.
Karamay city is located in the mid-latitude inland area and belongs to a typical temperate continental climate. Its characteristics are: great difference between cold and summer, dry and little rain, more monsoon in spring and autumn, and great temperature difference between winter and summer. Snow is thin, evaporates quickly and the frozen soil is deep. Strong winds, cold waves, hail, flash floods and other disasters occur frequently.
