Kuaidamao is the seat of Tonghua county government. There are different opinions about the origin of the place name "Kuaidamao". One of them was an official from Beijing during the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty. It was nine o'clock in the middle of winter, and the people took off their hats and bowed down. The official took pity on the people and said, "Put on your hat", which was handed down from now on. Second, people cultivated land here in the Qing Dynasty.
