Jiang suspected that she had neglected her mother and kicked her out of the house. Ponzi lived in a neighbor's house, worked hard day and night to spin and weave, and sent his savings to his neighbor to honor his mother-in-law. Later, my mother-in-law learned of Ponzi's dismissal and asked Chiang to invite him back. On Ponzi's way back to China, spring water suddenly gushed out of the courtyard, which tasted like the Yangtze River water, and two carp jumped out every day. From then on, Ponzi used these to worship his mother-in-law, so that he didn't have to go to the river far away.
