How to pay for the delay insurance?

Legal analysis: According to the relevant provisions of "Guiding Opinions of Civil Aviation Administration of China on Economic Compensation for Passengers Caused by Flight Delays by Domestic Airlines", airlines should make compensation plans for passengers with flight delays of more than 4 hours, and domestic flight delay insurance generally pays compensation to passengers with flight delays of more than 4 hours. The amount of compensation is 300 yuan per person.

Article 27 When the flight departure is delayed or cancelled, the carrier shall properly handle the refund or change procedures for passengers according to the general conditions of transportation and the conditions for the use of tickets.

If the passenger requests a written certificate of flight delay or cancellation, the carrier shall provide it in time.

Article 28 When the flight departure is delayed or cancelled, the carrier shall do a good job in passenger service according to the general conditions of transportation.

Article 29 After the flight departure is delayed or cancelled, the carrier or ground service agent shall provide accommodation services for passengers according to the following circumstances:

(1) If the departure of the flight is delayed or cancelled due to maintenance, flight deployment, crew and other reasons of the carrier, the carrier shall provide passengers with services such as meals or accommodation.

(2) If the departure of the flight at the place of origin is delayed or cancelled due to weather, emergencies, air traffic control, safety inspection and other non-carrier reasons, the carrier shall assist the passengers in arranging meals and accommodation at their own expense.

(3) If the domestic flight is delayed or cancelled at the stopover, the carrier shall provide the stopover passengers with meals or accommodation services for whatever reason.

(4) When domestic flights alternate, the carrier shall provide meals or accommodation services to alternate passengers for whatever reason.
