In the 30-mile windy area of the famous Xiaocao Lake in Xinjiang, the wind force reaches 1 1 at night. In windy areas, roads are paralyzed several times. Fire officers and soldiers in the area dispatched armored vehicles to rescue more than a dozen people trapped on the way, and finally successfully transferred to Xiaocaohu toll station for the night. The Turpan-Yuergou section of the Southern Xinjiang Railway was hit by a strong wind, and four passenger trains stopped to take shelter from the wind.

Dou Xinying, chief service officer of Xinjiang Meteorological Bureau, said that the warm and humid air in early spring has already been active, and the sudden "cold spring" has brought great contrast. This cold air lasts for a long time and has a large snowfall, which affects northern, southern and eastern Xinjiang at the same time. It is really rare. In the coming week, cold air will continue to move eastward, affecting Hami, Korla, Hotan and other southeastern Xinjiang, and most of southern Xinjiang will have obvious rain and snow. The meteorological department suggested that the strong cold air has brought adverse effects on transportation and facility agriculture in various places, and relevant departments need to do a good job in extreme weather prevention.
