Zhanjiang City is located between east longitude109 40'-10 58' and north latitude 2013'-2157', including all of Leizhou Peninsula and parts of the northern part of the peninsula, bordering the South China Sea in the east.

Climate:

Zhanjiang is located in the low latitude area south of the Tropic of Cancer and has a tropical and subtropical monsoon climate. It is regulated by maritime climate all year round, with no severe cold in winter and no intense heat in summer. April-September is the rainy season, with the most rainfall in August.
