Keigo Higashino: Galileo II: Predicting Dreams

The weather outside is so cold that I don't want to get out of bed at all.

Did you finish reading Galileo 2: Predicting Dreams last Sunday, or was it a short story composed of five short stories? Tang Chuan, an associate professor in the Physics Department of Imperial University, went out again to help the police uncle solve a difficult murder case.

1, dream

A boy decided that he would meet Li Mei sometime in the future and get married. Sure enough, Li Mei, a high school student, appeared two years ago. In the middle of the night, the boy climbed over the fence and broke into Li Mei's room. Li Mei's mother found him, picked up the gun and fired a shot. The boy didn't die, but he ran away and killed someone with his car, and was later caught.

Why does the boy think Li Mei is his wife? Now that Li Mei has not appeared, the name Li Mei has been in the boy's memory. Was it wrong, or did a strange elf tell him? This is what the police did not see. Professor Yukawa traced back to the source and discovered the extramarital affairs of Li Mei's mother many years ago.

Step 2 show

After dinner, Hasegai sent Mei Qing home and went to Xiao Shan's house to find Xiao Shan, but Xiao Shan was not at home and someone looked after him. I vaguely saw the figure of Mei Qing drinking beer in the thin valley swimming pool. I flashed past and immediately called Mei Qing, only to find that Mei Qing had died in her room.

Is this an epiphany after death? In the eyes of stupid police, this is the only explanation, but in Yukawa's view, this is not the case. Mei Qing was killed by Xiao Shan, and Mei Qing, who appeared in Xiao Shan's family, was Xiao Shan's accomplice, Laizi, because Xiao Shan and Laizi were boyfriend and girlfriend. Laizi killed a man by driving on Lingyuan Road, and happened to be photographed by Keiko Gaina.

3. Disturb the spirit

Yayoi found that her husband Junji had not come home for several days, so he reported the case, but the local police had limited ability and could only wait for a corpse to act. Yayoi hopes to find Interpol KUSANAGI to investigate through KUSANAGI's sister Lily, and finally he throws the matter to an associate professor of physics in Yukawa.

In a murder case caused by money, Grandma Takano's nephew owed a lot of money outside, hoping to come back and ask Grandma Takano for money. As a result, she lived with the debt collector at Grandma Takano's house. One day, a drunken debt collector urged Grandma Takano to pay back the money. If she is not careful, her heart will not bear to die. It happened that Jun Zhi, who often took care of Grandma Takano, saw that she was killed.

Step 4 strangle

It was a big fire, rolling and flashing, which Zhong Zhao's daughter saw from the window before going to bed. Zhao Zhong went out to find someone to pay back the money during the day. An old friend borrowed it and never came back at night. Later, he never came back.

The aunt across the street has money, and the rest can be supplemented by brains.

Although Keigo Higashino's short mystery novels are easy to read, they don't have the background of that kind of story to pave the way, so they are not very impressive, not deep enough and not enjoyable. After watching the ending, they were not at ease.
